Tequila Sunrise Mexican Restaurant

I've tried this place now several times and I really do want to like it because the location is very convenient to us but I keep being disappointed every single time. The servers are nice but the food is very bland. No taste whatsoever. If you like food with no flavor, then this is the place for you!

My husband had severe stomach issues all night after we ate there also. I'm now reading another review from someone else who experienced this as well. Not sure what's going on with that.

Was here Monday Oct/20/25 with a friend, our original plan was yummy bowl but they were packed. My entire review is about the food. I Had the Nacho Supreme. That night I had insane stomach cramps, the following day I threw up roughly 20 wish times, the day after that diarrhea all day. I HAVE NEVER experienced a feeling worst than I did this week after eating here. You need to get a health inspector immediately cause this is unacceptable. Never eat here if you don't want to feel like you're dying on the toilet at 2am

This used to be my favorite spot, and I would typically order the steak tacos. However, my last three visits have been disappointing. On each occasion, the steak was not properly cut, which caused me to choke. After the first incident, I was offered a discount on a new order, and I decided to give it another try, hoping the issue would be resolved. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. I became concerned when I was told my order would be ready in just 5 minutes, the food wasn’t fresh. Once again, the steak was not cut properly, leading to a concerned issue!

Pleasant experience every time we come here... it's been a while, but the food is still good, as expected. Tasty, spicy if preferred options... can't go wrong. The atmosphere is casual but elegant compared to a lot of other Mexican restaurants we've been to.

Consistently outstanding service with great food and beverages. You are treated like family here, exceeding your expectations and even remembering special aspects of your previous visits. We have been coming since they opened seven years ago, and will continue to make this our regular stop.

Dietary restrictions: Staff are very receptive to talking about ingredients and dietary restrictions!

Kid-friendliness: Staff go above and beyond interacting with kids and ensuring they are treated like family. This has been consistent for the 7 years (since they opened) that we have been coming here!
