As always, HC Tavern is our go to place. Our server was Chloe and she did a great job. Our cocktails were great and the bartender nailed my Woodford perfect Manhattan. We had the shrimp cocktail appetizer and it was great. My wife had the meatloaf and it was delicious! I had the lobster roll which was very good. It had a generous portion of lobster meat and the split bun was toasted in butter. I would get it again.

Great dinner last night! Had been a little disappointed on a previous visit, but this time we had the best time. Server was friendly and attentive. Food was outstanding. Loved the ambiance. We topped it off with a s'more style desert that was fantastic.

Typically we have a great experience here but not this trip. It took aver 25 minutes to get our first drink, we were charged for a beer we did not get, my daughters meal did not come out with the rest of the food and so we all had to wait for her steak to be prepared. We were provided free dessert. It was a celebratory dinner so just a little disappointing.

We six had great service, food, and ambience. Four of us had the salmon which had a nice seared top and was perfectly cooked inside. The broccolini was fresh and tender but not overdone. We loved the cobbler and cheesecake desserts. The best part was that my wife and three other siblings were able to catch up with one another. Some had not been together for many years, so we truly appreciated the staff not urging us to leave after a typical timeframe. That was very generous and kind to let us remain and enjoy each others' company.

French fries and calamari were good. The sweet tea fried chicken was just average. Mashed potatoes were average. The coleslaw was bad. Needed acid and was way too salty. Overall not a good value and didn't live up to the hype

It was extremely loud where we were sitting . We were right by the hostess station upstairs and there was slamming of dishes . Very hard to hear each other talk ! Server was not very friendly as well . Food was great !

We've been many times, but last night was a "miss!" Our server was not attentive and less than helpful. The food was "off" last night. Overall we had a very poor experience.
We had a surprise birthday lunch for my husband here and everything was perfect. They honored the requests I made in the reservation notes, had a birthday card on the table that the staff all signed, and gave my husband his choice of a complementary dessert. From start to finish, everything was exemplary.

Everything was excellent. We shared the shrimp cocktail (classic to Huse!), pimento fitters and the corn dogs! Fun appetizers! We loved the sliders, both filet and crab cake! We also had some of the fish tacos that were fantastic. We also especially loved the corn side dish. An excellent choice after a show at the Fisher's Event Center.

Our server was delightful and attentive. Wait time for table was good. We mentioned we were on a time frame and food arrived within a good time frame. We ordered a couple cold dishes and several hot sides. The sides were luke warm. We placed a later order of fries and they came out very quickly but were again just barely warm and it was mostly little bitty fries that looked like they were from the bottom of the bin. We also had a wedge salad that came out with very little lettuce, so much so, that my guest actually asked for more lettuce because there was so little on her plate. Cocktails were refreshing and overall atmosphere was happening. Left slightly disappointed in the food but overall it was a good visit. It was a busy night so I'll chalk it up to that. Also, due to an event at The Fishers Event Center it was very difficult to get out of the parking lot! It was gridlocked for awhile! So avoid on those nights!!
