Do yourself a favor and order the cinnamon sugar toast but be sure to tell them to lightly toast it.

Great food, excellent service, nice atmosphere, enjoyed stopping here!
It's an ok place. The food is decent and usually well made but a little boring. When ive had biscuits with stuff they seem to be hard little things, almost like what you get frozen. It reminds me of the place Jim dandy in noblesville. I've never had a bad experience or bad food but I wouldn't necessarily say it was exciting. It's a solid just ok place. I'd recommend it.

Food was pretty ok, but expensive for what you get.
Menu prices different than actual prices on some items. Coffee was not good.
Please get coasters or don’t put my debit card in the standing table water?

I hope I just hit them on a bad day. This place used to be exceptional and I loved it. I live on the Westside of Indy and don't get this way often. I was in Fishers this morning and was looking forward to the excellent restaurant I remember several years ago. Nope!
The omelette was dry, the sausage patties were dry, amazingly even the toast was dry. I don't know how they accomplished that.
And speaking of toast, it was 1 piece, cut into 2 halves. And even the one piece was pretty small. They used to fresh-bake their own bread. That's obviously not true any more. If they did bake this, it was apparently days ago.
I'll chalk this up to a bad day, I know any place can and does have that once in a while. I'll have to think about another visit. But if I do come back and have this type of food again, The Roost will be off of my list of places to eat.
Having said that, the service was fine.

Restaurantji Recommends
Most of the food was very good and the service great. The cornbread casserole was so dry I couldn't eat it
The waitress gave me another side of my choosing which was great.

I'm from out of town and stopped by this place on a whim, and it is fantastic! I had the Weekender, which was delicious from top to bottom! Even the side of fruit was the freshest I've ever had aside from cutting it myself! The service was fantastic (shout-out Daisy). I can't recommend this place enough!

I would give zero stars if it were a option. Me and my family sat down at a table there was garbage and spilled stuff all over my seat and the wall next to me. Me and my family proceeded to wait around 25 minutes and we were never even asked if we wanted anything to drink. If it was first watch we would have had nice food by the time we got up because the service was that bad.
