Torchy's Tacos

My husband and I came in for the first time today for lunch. We thought it looked kind of pricy but maybe it was worth it. He got the Democrat and the Republican tacos. All jokes aside, the democrat taco was severely lacking in substance. There was barely any meat in it. The republican taco had more filling but both tacos were equally disappointing in that they were soooooo small. These tacos were over $6 a piece and they were so small. I got the fajita taco and it was also extremely small and the meat in my taco had so much fat, it was inedible. I will say, the appetizer tots were very good and so was the guacamole. All in all it was very disappointing to spend $40 and wind up in the line at Taco Bell.

Very delicious food and very quick service! I would highly recommend the blackened fish taco, the queso, and the breakfast burrito!

We’re regulars with Jay at the bar and he is awesome! Tacos are always fresh, especially the breakfast tacos! Margaritas are always a great drink choice too. All around great experience here!

We love coming here before our team games in fishers and it’s always a good time! Jay is a great server / bartender and makes the margaritas just right with the flavors!

CLOSED…Was extremely disappointed when me and a whole group of friends traveled up from IU Bloomington on the most treacherous day of the year, and they were closed… Google said they were open and all of us wasted 2 hours EACH WAY so 4 hours in total trying to go to a place that shut their doors. I was extremely disappointed. I called them and they said it was “due to weather”, but they could have updated the google business info so we don’t waste 4 hours of our time. We love the brand Torchy’s but if it can’t handle a few inches of snow, salted roads, and clear parking lots, then I don’t see myself taking the journey up there with my group of friends again. I understand this was a weather event safety issue, but they appeared to be one of the very few places that closed early due to weather.
And there were still workers in the store.

The food actually surprised me of its bold favors and great taste. The staff was equally as great. Hospitality, friendly, welcoming just to name a few good things. Visit this spot if you have the opportunity.
