Excellent Cocktails, Wine Selection and Italian Food! Every single thing was excellent!

Management was very rude when speaking to on the phone. There was a mishap with my payment and rather than making it right they told me I was wrong and refused to help.

Huge portions, wonderful atmosphere, fantastic drinks and delicious food.

The food here is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Awesome”!!! The server was wonderful⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! But it was all great to the end!!! Then 😡RUDE!!! We had just dropped a lot of money for 2 people on a meal, we even had desert! Well, we just barely got our cake at and was still trying to finish our coffee, when we was ask to leave!! 😳 We wasn’t being disruptive or loud! We was ask to leave because they had a reservation for our table and we had took to long with having drinks, appetizers, meal and desert!! An hour and half was all we were allowed. Well that did it for me!! I may never go back unless they want to rethink their reservation setup. I’m sorry, that is a lot to try and choke down in an hour and half. Chef get more room!! And don’t rush your patrons! I would hate for someone to rush eating and choke, all because you need more money!!

Edited to add: I made the big mistake of ordering a simple pasta dish w/protein, thinking the price for the "special" would for sure reflect all other similar pasta dishes on the reg. menu ($20-$25 roughly.) Imagine my astonishment when I showed up for my carryout order, & the tortellini w protein was $45, and I ordered 2 of them!... No wonder the price was left off the pasta special posted online... My mistake I guess!?‍♀️?‍♀️ PS- It was not extraordinary compared to all the normally priced pasta, like at all... Never again. The staff just looked at me like I was a stupid Karen when I was shocked? I've always sung the praises of this place 24/7 & send everyone here; not so sure after last night's "doup"....

I did not stay to eat cuz it was dark and loud and the prices were high for what I was in the mood for. It seems like everyone else loves it there, and of course there was alcohol which I don't care for.

Amore is a cozy superb Italian restaurant with a fine dining menu. Supreme and top notch Chef Papsodero designs his weekly menu that provides a wonderful selection of the greatest truly from Italy style food. While always serving the most delicious lasagna and spaghetti entrees, there is a good choice of incredible dishes such as steaks, specialty grilled fish and chicken. Serving sizes are substantial. There is also an extremely vast selection of wines, liquor and specialty cocktails. Any drink you could think of, they make it.
Reservations are recommended, but if you get there at 5:00 pm opening you can get in pretty easily.
The staff is excellent at checking on your table and making your every desire is met within moments. At Amore, you are treated like you are a VIP your entire visit. I highly recommend going, tasting real Italian food prepared by an Italian Chef. You will definitely want to come back for more.

Parking: Parking is open and close to the restaurant. Early parking is easy.

Nice atmosphere, great food. Family owned and operated. Kennedy was our server, very on point, sweet and attentive. The Calamari is a must! Consistently top notch, possibly the best Italian restaurant in Louisville area!

tonight was different that than before. The food was good as always, but the service was not.
We were served at different times
By the time 2 members of our group were served, the first 2 were finished with their dinner.
