Amazing seafood, appetizers and desserts (bread pudding is phenomenal)! A must is having Samantha at Sam’s Food & Spirits as our server. Hands down the best food and service anywhere around! We are so glad we stumbled on this place. The manager Sam came and met us personally as well. The entire experience is worth the drive!

Sometimes you go out for the incredible food you don’t have to cook; sometimes you just want to see that familiar smiling face who’s gonna ask about your trip/family/job etc.
They rotate soups; seasonal salads & a variety of cocktails & beer throughout the year. If you haven’t been, try it out.
Sam’s also makes bread pudding & carry a rotating selection of desserts from Sweet Stuff Bakery. Their catering menu’s loaded with something for everyone.

We can’t say enough about Sam’s! Not only is it one of our favorite places to go and eat, we recently did a catering order for a family get together. Not only was the food prepared with the utmost care, but the cost was so affordable it was not worth us cooking ourselves! We can’t say enough good things about the staff, as they are always friendly and courteous and go above and beyond! The chicken tenders, salad, cheese and fruit tray that we got for our family get together was perfect! And when we were all finished, there was nothing left! Thank you all for always providing a wonderful experience whether we are there or getting an order to go!

Fantastic fish sandwich! The house fries were a pleasant surprise.

Love this place been going for years we moved to Florida for several years but came back due damage fro hurricanes so we’re back on schedule to eat at Sams plus he’s a friend I used to be a soccer referee Sam played for New Albany used to go too his restaurant when it was Blackiston rd till truck destroyed half of it Highlander is great

My wife & I ate at Sam's at 6pm today. It was my first time having this place. The popcorn smelled amazing so we definitely had to grab a basket to eat. Marley our server was excellent. Greeted us with a smile & checked on us consistently! Answered questions we had about certain meals. I'll be sure to ask for Marley, the next time we return. I got an appetizer 5 tenders tossed in hot (buffalo 🔥) with onion rings. My wife got the chicken tender dinner. Everything tasted delicious and came out hot and fresh. We will be back. Thanks

Went for dinner and had the clam strips/Onion Ring app. Fresh and hot. I had the fish sandwich & wife had the chicken tenders. Both were hot, generous portions and fresh. Marley was our server and she was absolutely fantastic. Great job Sam’s.

This place is not real flashy but it is clean and the service is great. They have some of the best chicken tenders. The spicy popcorn is amazing as well. I forget sometimes that the food is so good, but everytime I go I eat too much.
