Fontanet Tavern caught my attention when it showed up in my social feed as a place with notable breaded pork tenderloins (I love them; it's a popular thing in the Midwest, especially Indiana!). And even better, a comment on that post mentioned there are Filipino food items on the menu and the owner is a Filipina! Right then, I knew we had to visit.
Fontanet is a very, very small town. Low and behold, right there across from the Fontanet post office and on the other...
Oh... what a wonderful find! This is such an inviting comfortable place to be. The people are down to earth and so kind. The food is spot on... Delicious! Can't wait to try more of the selections on the menu. We will be back!
I was quite impressed with this eatery and tavern. I had the breaded tenderloin and french fries and the tenderloin was quite tasty and home breaded. The service was phenomenal, and I will definitely go back sooner than later. Very casual dress and the restroom was very clean.
