Looking for Breaded Tenderloin Sandwiches let me to Zack's Diner in Fort Branch while passing through. The diner is decent sized once inside. Has a nice dessert refrigerator as you walk in. I asked the waitress what the number one seller was and she said Fried Chicken. However, I was looking for the BTL. Sandwich and fries came up pretty quickly. Fries were good and crunchy, soft on the inside. Sandwich came with lettus and tomato on the side. Sandwich was on a toasted bun....
Very clean, efficient, and friendly. Really good fried chicken. The red velvet cake was delicious. The tea was brewed and fresh. The prices were reasonable. Had a nice time in a small town. Thank you.
The place is small. The service is excellent and the food is good as well. If you like fried breaded mushrooms, you have to try theirs! They have a large selection of desserts to choose from. They serve breakfast all day, which my children enjoyed.
Parking: The parking lot is small but the diner is small as well, so parking should be easily available unless it is a weekend.
