Title: A Truly Heartwarming Breakfast Experience

From the moment I stepped inside, I felt like more than just a customer—I felt like family. The owner greeted me with a smile that could brighten anyone’s day and created an atmosphere of genuine warmth and care.
The food? Absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. But what truly sets this place apart is the heart behind it. The owner didn’t just serve breakfast; they served kindness. They took time to chat, make everyone feel welcome, and even offered to pray with patrons if they wished. It wasn’t pushy or awkward—just a beautiful gesture of compassion and community that made the experience unforgettable. The staff were so attentive and kind.
In a world where hospitality often feels rushed, this breakfast shop is a rare gem. It’s not just about great food—it’s about leaving with a full stomach and a full heart. I can’t recommend it enough. Five stars, and I’ll be back again and again!

I was honestly having a pretty rough day until we had lunch with the team at Divine Encounter. Felt like family from the moment we stepped in, could not recommend more!!

Absolutely amazing food, with options for SO many dietary limitations and ethical preferences. Table service was excellent. The owner is unabashedly Christian, and/ but also extraordinarily gracious, and seems to come from a place of love and honesty. My wife and I will definitely be back.

Betty is the sweetest soul and has a light for Jesus like no other. Would recommend this place over and over to all people on all backgrounds and walks of faith. Not only is the service a 100/10 but the food is pretty spectacular as well. Praise the Lord for the way Betty is moving in the city of Fort Wayne. God bless❤️❤️

I was craving some pie, but I couldn't even make it a step into the building because everyone in there was doing some strange cultish circle. I felt very uncomfortable and turned tail.

Betty was the kindest owner I’ve ever had the pleasure of speaking with at a restaurant. Thank you for such a wholesome and welcoming breakfast- which was absolutely delicious. God bless you 🥰

Just stopped in from out of town, had a delicious and healthy breakfast- the hash browns are phenomenal. But more than that the staff was amazing and took time to talk with and pray for every person in the restaurant. Betty is a blessing and a warrior for Christ.

An easily missed little mom and pop café with strongly Christian imagery and feel. Bible passages and light Christian Contemporary music abounds. The food is varied, reasonably priced and delicious. Seating is ample and clearly laid out.

This is a very laid back location and will go out of its way to make you feel explicitly welcome, whoever you are. You will be treated as lifelong friends first met when you come here.

This is more of a church that happens to sell food than a café. If you only use Google to find a place to eat, I URGE you to read all the reviews, sorted from lowest to highest, and then read many of the higher reviews. You should be able to tell if this is the spot for you. This may be what you're looking for, but it also might be the complete opposite of your idea of a good time.

There was a large, loud prayer circle that took place with all staff and every other patron in the restaurant aside from our table as we declined participation.

The owner is very sweet but very open with her past tribulations that include sensitive topics that not everyone will be fond of hearing.

I applaud that she has found a path that works for her and hearing anyone overcome like that is always amazing! But you may want to go elsewhere if you aren't wanting a sermon with a side of hashbrowns.
