VFW Post 857 is a great place to meet friends and have a good time. Great food is available with specials on Wednesdays and great dinners every Fri. 1st Fri- Fish fry, 2nd Fri - Chicken dinner, 3rd Fri-Wings, 4th Fri-Chicken wraps. Special dinner by VFW Aux on 5th Fri.
Although we came and had a great time, the place seems a bit aged and when the performers were on stage there were times when the lighting was completely dark on stage and you couldn't see anyone up there. They need to put a light bar out off of the stage about 10 feet and leave it on at all times.
This post is full of caring people. The food served here is awesome and reasonably priced. Service is great and getting better. Any veteran, service member, or their immediate family member should definitely go. So should everyone on nights the post is open to the public
