Our meal tonight was absolutely phenomenal! I ordered the lasagna, and I’ll be dreaming about it for days, it was that good! We finished with an affogato, and it was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. You also have to try the olive oil gelato, it’s truly amazing! The service was just as impressive, Amber was wonderful and made our experience even better. We’ll definitely be back!

Nate was awesome food was delicious would totally recommend!
Amore is easily my newest favorite. The atmosphere is so beautiful. The intentionality behind everything is so evident. The staff was courteous and friendly and went above and beyond for each step while we were there. We went for our wedding anniversary last night. We had the calamari, chicken, and triangle penne with meatballs. Everything was wonderful. And top everything off, they gave us a dessert for our celebration with a card, signed by the staff. The tiramisu was incredible!! It is by far my favorite I’ve ever had. That’s saying a lot by the way, considering it’s my favorite dessert. Long story short, I cannot recommend this place enough. If you want to be met with intentionality, a beautiful, romantic atmosphere, and great food, go to Amore.

Great food and space. Bartender is great!
Our first visit to Amore was for our 43 wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful evening in the elegant dining room. Our server, Sydney was knowledgable, attentive and sweet. The food was excellent. We appreciated that we were never rushed and had time to enjoy each part of the meal. Per other reviews we had the focaccia and it was delicious. For entree's we had the lasagna and mushroom ragu campanelle.Portion size was generous and the homemade pasta and sauces were delicious. the ragu had a unique chashew ricotta that was a great addition to the dish. They suprised us with a free dessert of our choice and an cute aniversary card, signed by the staff. Very sweet! The chocolate molten cake was outstanding and the perfect size to share. Even the fresh brewed decaf with dessert was good. We'll be back!

My family and I had one of the best dining experiences at Amore!
Our server, JT, was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and so knowledgeable about the menu. She guided us through each option with care. The chef even stopped by our table to greet us and make sure everything was perfect, which made the evening feel extra special. The appetizers were outstanding, and every entrée was fresh, flavorful, and delicious to the very last bite.
We will definitely be back!

I ordered Salmon and Green beans. Food had no taste other than what was a little salt. They just threw it on the plate with no garnishes. Bartender was awful. Atmosphere sucks the life out of me. Bar is depressing other than the cool wall of wine bottles. Would not recommend there are better places in Fort Wayne.

Restaurantji Recommends
So badly wish I could give them five stars. Atmosphere was stunning, food was good, and dessert was absolutely amazing. Went there with a group of 7, restaurant was fairly empty/not busy. Our waiter was amazing, very attentive. Had to deduct not one but two starts due to the fact it took forever to receive anything we ordered..even a simple glass of wine. My group collectively questioned why everything was taking so long on several occasions . (This was not something we discussed with the waiter, but felt that wait for every single thing we ordered was a bit outrageous).

From the food to the atmosphere to the service everything was great. Decided to try on a whim from out of town and fell in love. Hope to be back one day! The focaccia was so yummy with the aged cheese in the dip. Kyrsten was a great waitress! She sampled some drinks for us and was very attentive the whole time. Loved her recommendations! 10/10

It's important to share why we returned to this restaurant for a full meal. On a previous occasion we walked into Amore at a few minutes before closing and asked the bar if we could get a cocktail. I was fully ready to accept a no as often staff in their cleaning are ready to go home. The two bartenders welcomed us without pressure. They took our order, and even suggested a couple of apps before the kitchen closed and we ordered a shrimp cocktail and their focaccia.
It's not like we habitually walk into a restaurant at closing expecting to be served, but I have to say, it was refreshing to not only be served, but made to feel welcome. For this reason, when I returned to town (I live in Chicago), I wanted to have a full meal.
Again, service was the star of the show. Our waitress Izzy was the perfect blend of timing, information and low pressure salesmanship. Our entrees, four different, all were very good. If there was one 'miss' on the menu, it was what they called spinach fondue. Izzy told us that we should translate as creamed spinach. I ordered it because that's my thing. It was neither a fondue or creamed spinach. It was unseasoned béchamel poured over whole sautéed spinach. Given that it had the elevated name, this one dish disappointed.
All in all, it was a fun and delicious night but the staff alone is reason to return, and we will.

On Friday evening we visited Amore for the first time. Let me say that it was a fantastic experience starting with the hostess that greeted and seated us. She was delightful and sweet. Next the servers were amazing and attentive and the food and drinks were great. I personally recommend the black manhattan, The focaccia bread, Caesar salad and The rigatoni. The highlight of the evening was when a sweet young blonde server delivered our molten lava cake. She delivered it with a beautiful smile with a detailed presentation and how best to eat the dessert.
The entire experience was filled with great personalities and amazing food. We will definitely be returning as it is one of the top restaurants in my opinion in Fort Wayne.
