Great neighborhood place in Georgetown. Server's are friendly and take great care of guests. Food is good & plentiful hence we always have leftovers ? very reasonable pricesBiscuits & Gravy yummy & love their Skillet Breakfast

First time here and it was great. The staff was super friendly and gave some good recommendations. Food came out quick and we had lots of refills on drinks. The Mexican breakfast burrito was really tasty but the pancakes were amazing. So light and fluffy. Quintessential greasy spoon diner atmosphere and food which I love.

Last 2 visits have been very poor. 1st visit had 2 servers. Not busy. Waited 45 min., for the food. Plus, those after had their food. It was a bowl of soup, tuna melt and fries & 2 waters.Tuna melt was cold and even asked for it to be hot all through. Went back to kitchen to see if order was lost. Said they were trying to serve it all at once.I'm sure soup & tuna salad would be already made. So to grill the sandwich & do fries took 45 min.? When she saw me write on back of our bill, she was right there. No asking how food was or if we needed refills. They did ask the other tables. During our wait, one server was eating in kitchen doorway facing us.Second visit one server. Actually put sign on door at noon closed due to short staff. Service was better, but we told her we had an appointment, which we did. So it was another table there before us who didn't get order taken until after we were served. I specifically asked for tuna melt to be hot all through. It was cold again. We love Angel Cafe. We have been regulars. Always has been great food and service. I know it's hard to fit good help.We don't eat out very often, but Angel Cafe has been our place. I sure hope they can get better staff. There's been a great turnover recently. Prior staff worked as team and told us the staff was like family. A great place to work! That speaks highly coming from the staff. We're not giving up on them. Definitely praying the issues get solved!

I would give zero stars if it was an option. When we walked it, it smelled like burnt food immediately. Took 20 minutes for someone to take our order. Cup had a crack in it and water was all over the table, they took the cup but didn’t clean the water up. Food was disgusting. We all took a few bites and didn’t eat anymore. Told the person asking how the food was, that it was not good. They put fresh fruit on the same plate as biscuits and gravy, so gravy was all over the fruit. Would recommend putting it in a bowl, separate from the other food. Syrup for pancakes had chunks in it. Will not return there to eat.

Great breakfast place and always enjoy supporting locals. Do yourself a favor and have a bite at angels, even with dirty faces. Make sure you tell them to keep the change ya filthy animal.

Scrambled eggs and bacon undercooked and great. No condiments on the table. Waitress never came back to check on things, she looked like she would help in the kitchen more than doing her job. The food is not worth the price.

Usually I love this place…but….not today….wait was too long….we had to take sliverware off another table…then finally when we got our food I found two yes two hairs in my food!!!!! The waitress was so short with us….and rude…I wished her good luck when we left!!! I think the food police should make a stop there….

Worst experience ever, went to have breakfast with my son we ordered a simple meal sat there for 40 minutes plus, while six tables after us were served and we still sat there no explanation, no one talked to us. We asked if someone could check on our order and we were told it’s coming. More tables were served. When we attempted to leave after paying for our drinks our food was miraculously ready to be bagged up, we declined. We were told there was only one cook, then how did everyone get their food except us? No organization no communication bad service.
The waitresses had only been there 2 days and was doing an awesome job. She was the only waitresse there. Was very nice and the kitchen staff was helping her out. And they were very nice.
