Took a chance on coming here because I wanted sushi and my usual spot Haru is closed Mondays. Let me save you- do not come here. The sushi tastes like it’s from Kroger. Not good at all. I paid $25 for 6 small pieces of a California roll that was touching the wasabi, and some plain noodles. Haru’s noodles are actually delicious and comes with more than two pieces of shrimp. You get 10 pieces for their California roll and it tastes 10x better. Wasted my $25 and will not be returning.

I eat here often. Always great food and service. Highly recommend this place. I suggest getting beef fried rice. Ask for a side of teriyaki sauce to mix in if you want to try something new.

I stopped by during the road trip and grabbed some takeout food. The tonkatsu was a bit heavy, but the katsu-don was really delicious. The seafood udon was packed with vegetables and meat!

Love Asakusa! Been going for over 20 years. Went for lunch w some girlfriends and had their famous Lunch Binto Box for $14. You can pick 2 main items, I choose Teriyaki Beef (extra $2) and Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura (w dipping sauce). It comes with your choice of steamed rice or fried rice, side of steamed carrots & broccoli, sauteed mushrooms and a choice of clear miso soup or a salad. Years ago, it was jus under $12, came w BOTH a miso soup & salad, along with larger portions. But regardless, it is still a great place to eat w a calm & intimate Japanese atmosphere. You can sit by the sushi bar or even b in an enclosed room for larger parties.
