“My wife and I had an eye doctor appointment, and we decided to check out Shoccu, which was a couple doors down. The restaurant was clean with a simple yet, very appealing wood theme throughout. Our waitress was awesome, and the food was too. Shame on me, I did not take any pictures of our food, but I can tell you it was an appealing presentation. The sushi rolls were amazing. I plan to go back for another round and get some pics. If you happen to be close by, put Shocco on the to-do list because bold savory flavors, crispy textures, and a full belly await you. “We had developed a restaurant rut and decided we needed a new place. We are now fans. We had fish cake and somosas for appetizers. The sweet/hot/sour sauce was spot on with each. We then had the Burmese noodles and Pad Tai, each with pork. The hot was sufficient. Thai hot would have totally hidden the flavors. The Burmese noodles isn't spiced so the chili pepper on the table was perfect. Our meals had big flavor and generous portions. If you leave hungry, you only have yourself to blame. The food is the star, atmosphere is not even an idea.“

“First time visiting Mahnin. Small restaurant, very unassuming on the outside, but pleasant inside. Friendly service. I had the Pad Thai with beef and medium spiciness. It was possibly the best Pad Thai I've ever had. My wife had the Pad Pak and enjoyed it as well. The Samona appetizer was very good, as was the Thai Tea. Looking forward to going back. I highly recommend Mahnin Asian Restaurant if you are looking for good Asian cuisine.“
