“We have been regulars at the Village Tap for YEARS since we lived in the ‘05. The food is awesome, prices are great, drinks are REAL and the staff are the best part. We try to sit at Emily’s table because she is like sunshine itself.“

“Was in town delivering and was trying to find a place to eat. Found this small bar. Grabbed an Uber to come here. Walked in and wasn’t expecting smoking inside. Didn’t bother me much but I don’t smoke so it was different. Still walked in and sat down. Got a beer. Ordered the 6 mile personal pizza and the 6 mile grinder sandwich. Both were amazing. Had a few beers. Bartender was really nice and took care of me. Nice place to hang out for a bit. But the smoking did get to me after a while so I decided to call it a night. But I still highly recommend coming here to have a beer and some food.“

“Came in on a Friday night with a couple friends and the place had a nice, laid back vibe. It wasn’t too loud, which I appreciated since we actually wanted to talk. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries and it was pretty solid, juicy and cooked how I asked. The wings were decent too, good flavor but not crazy spicy. Service took a little while when it got busy, but our server kept checking in and was friendly the whole time. Prices felt fair for what you get. Overall, it’s a reliable neighborhood bar & grill and I’d go back again.“

“After decorating at Charlie’s Awesome Venue I decided to pop over to the other side get a bite to eat. I was torn between the two burgers they currently have on the menu. I went with the blue cheese with bacon jam. I am here to tell you this was the best burger I have ever had in my life! Our server was pretty great as well. I will be back soon to get that awesome burger.!“

“Birdie’s is a huge gem in the crown of Ft. Wayne! Great drinks, creative menu and bartenders/ staff are top notch! I highly recommend stopping here should you find yourself in the “Fort”. If you’re fortunate you’ll find Tory who is very talented in mixology , she is witty and funny. Also an unforgettable bloke, Richie, who will do everything to make sure you are happy. “At first, we weren’t quite sure where to go, but in the end we decided to give this little “local bar” a try — and we’re so glad we did! Early in the evening it was pretty quiet, but later on the place really came to life. There was a jukebox where you could play your own music for just a few dollars, and we ended up singing and laughing all night long.

The drinks were delicious, and the nachos are definitely worth recommending. All in all, it was an unforgettable night out in the USA — a great mix of fun, good vibes, and friendly people.“

“Went in the other night with a couple friends after work and honestly had a pretty good time. The place has a laid-back vibe, nothing too fancy but comfortable enough to hang out for a bit. My burger was cooked right and the fries were crispy, which is kinda all I was hoping for. Drinks were reasonably priced too. Service wasn’t super fast, but the staff was friendly and checked on us a few times. Overall a decent spot if you’re just looking to relax, grab some food, and unwind without spending too much. Would probably go again.“

“My grandma and I got locked outside our car at the gas station next door and had to wait for roadside assistance to arrive. The staff were very kind and understanding and allowed us to sit inside for as long as we needed, not even a purchase being a requirement. My grandma is disabled and cannot stand for more than 10 minutes so this kind gesture meant the world to us. Thank you guys immensely. Great place!“

“I used Downtown Bar as an intimate, family-friendly venue for a weekend afternoon party for my daughter's 21st birthday celebration. It was perfect 👌. We all really enjoyed our time and the space!

“I usually love this place but last week my husband and I placed a pick up order & one of the burgers was super salty and couldn't eat the fries because they were so hard and the other burger was supposed to be mushroom and swiss & there were no mushrooms on it. Very disappointing.“

“Got a delicious order of buffalo Mac. The chicken (I chose grilled) was a little done and the slices were very small, but for the dish price I expected as much and it was still very filling for me. I almost needed a box to go but I powered through the dish. Friends got a tower of Michelob ultra. The chilled mugs were a nice touch, but they didn't stay cold very long. Will definitely return to this location and try more items on the menu“
