Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill

the food was delicious and the server was very nice and helpful .It was our first time there but definitely will go back.

Pizza is fantastic- I’m from the south side of Chicagoland and all I want is a crispy thin crust cut in squares. They have it. It’s delicious- and so hard to find! The only thing I’d change about this beautiful dining room is some acoustic tiles bc when it’s busy it is is so incredibly loud you have to shout to hear it each other-which is not relaxing at all. But the food is perfect and I love all the wood and stained glass!

I actually like Beer Barrel, however we have given thier Sunday brunch a shot two weeks in a row and it's been disastrous. We actually only went back for brunch today because last week was so bad we were given a gift card by the manager. It's been very dead at brunch time but service has been terribly slow. Both times I had to ask for new silverware as the forks still had old food on them. The first week I ordered a side of fruit and it was rotten. Like black and mushy rotten. They took ot off the bill and gave a gift card for our troubles. This time around I asked for my bacon to be crispy and it was crispy... it was also black and tasted like charcoal. I has Mellon seeds in my scrambled eggs. We waited forever for drink refills and for our food. Other tables were seated after us, ordered after us and received their food before us. The manager was the one who brought out our plates not even our server. The toast was good! Everything else was meh at best. I'll stick with dinner time Beer Barrel. I did not complain this time... I don't want to be that guy who only comes in to get gift cards. It was the same manager as last week and I was over it and just wanted to leave.

One of our favorite local places to eat! We stopped in today for an early lunch and was pleasantly surprised with the new Brunch menu!
First we would love to give a shout out to our waitress Myairra for her amazing suggestions and service!

We started off with the breakfast nachos… scrambled eggs, corn, black beans, pico, guacamole, sour cream… a perfect flavor explosion!
We couldn’t decide between three entries so we got them all to share… Overnight French Toast, Breakfast Burrito and Chicken and Waffles. The flavors in all of these were fantastic.. Savory and sweet!
The only big disappointment we had is that our stomachs weren’t big enough. Good portions to share, left with a take home box.
We will be back when we have enough room to enjoy another great meal!!!

Amazing thin and crispy pizza! I had the Margherita. My friend had the San Antonio. Fun atmosphere. Good beer selection. Wonderful service!

My husband loves the BBQ Bacon burger, gets it everytime. I love the Garlic Knots! The food and service is always excellent.

12/24/24:

The waitress we had was great, the food plentiful, but I saw another waitress (young, white, short, black hair wearing glasses and a santa hat) put her hand up to her mouth and cough loudly into it. I noticed that she did not wipe or wash them. Instead, she went directly to the holding shelf, grabbing clean plates, silverware, and drinking glasses to set up a new table. A few minutes later, she served ordered food to her waiting customers touching their plates (probably) with dirty hands. If she is there the next time I go, I will walk out if she will be the waitress serivng me because she is proving unsafe food services at Beer and Barrel in Fort Wayne, Jefferson Mall. Are they not training their waitstaff properly in regards to food safety practices?

I stopped in for a cold beer while my wife was shopping and we ended up staying for dinner. Nice selection of cold beer and the food was really good. Service was excellent!

Michaela is a friendly and such an efficient server! This place never disappoints! With such an expansive menu, even the pickiest eater will certainly find something that will be enjoyed!

I've been coming here since they've opened. The new General Manager used to be my bartender and this place just never disappoints! Great food, great service! Michaela does an awesome job behind the bar she's friendly and gives exceptional service!

Since there are so many things that went wrong let’s start with what went right. I got the Irish Whiskey Wings which were really good, flavor wise. Now on to what went wrong. Our second mistake was choosing to sit at the bar which was half dirty. It took a minute for the bartender to acknowledge us and take our drink orders then our food orders. Over 30 minutes later we got our food (chicken wings, a sandwich and a salad), which was barely warm. There is more but I don’t like writing essays for reviews. Our first mistake was choosing to eat here. I will never eat here again.

Worst first time experience ever .. went for my first time .. and waited 20 mins before we decided to up and finally just leave . Didn’t get any service other than seated .. couldn’t even get a drink .. and sad to say they weren’t to to busy .. if I could leave a 0 star I would ..

We stopped in after going to some holiday festivities for a late dinner. I'm not sure if the heat was out, but it was freezing in the restaurant. I'm perpetually hot, but was cold tonight. The fans were blowing cold air out. Also, why have a fireplace if you aren't going to have a fire when it's 15 degrees out?

Our food took a while to come out and wasn't that great. The pizza had very little sauce on it. The pretzel stick appetizers were very good however.
