Big Eyed Fish Express North

Ordered a "Large" fish sandwich and some onion rings. The total was 18 dollars. Onion rings were mediocre at best. The fish sandwich was mostly bread and had 3 little pieces of fish on it, it was almost comical. I was tempted to take it back in and just get my money back, but I was in a rush. Enjoy the 18 bucks I paid for the 5 dollars worth of food I ate. Absolute shite.

So it was my first time being in this establishment. The food was okay; however, from the minute I walked into the building there was a negative atmosphere. It didn’t take long to locate the source. This older blonde woman with glasses kept making me real uncomfortable. She eyeballed me like I was scum and made me feel so unwelcome.

Ordered many times two 3 PC fish dinners to go. Service is consistently rude and lackadaisical even after I stuff money in her tip cup. Prices have gone up a lot, no surprise, fries were cold, they're getting stingy with the tartar sauce supplied for 6 pcs of fish. Fish good. Hair in food like others have complained about, several times. No silverware either. Now we go to Culvers, pleasant service, decent food, much cleaner. The one BEF on Wells is different, same Fish, great service and sides.

The last few times I've ordered take-out fish dinners here, they've gotten my order wrong. Nothing big usually, just one forgotten item. This last time however, they completely forgot the 'fish' part of one of the fish dinners.

I'm a bit torn because I like the food and want to support local businesses, but I can't keep ordering if they won't get the orders right.

It's a shame.

I didn't even know they were located about 2 blocks from me!! My brother and I had the best lunch here!!! The fish and tartar sauce were out of this world!!!

Only giving a one star. Traveled six miles to pick up order. 3 piece dinner with fries and hush puppies. Got home and opened dinner. No fries. Tried calling and after ringing about ten times phone automatically disconnected. The food I did get was delicious .

Always the best fish and tartar sauce, amazing staff that works super hard, prices on fish have been creeping up over the years, so we can't go as often, but I will be back and definitely recommend!

Well I have to say the last couple of times haven't been how it use to be. They definitely over fry the chicken in the chicken dinners. The breast wasn't too bad. They should fry it 1st then put other pieces in a few minutes later. Also like everywhere else prices have risen and the prices on the 2 drive thru menus had 2 different prices. To be honest I will probably drive to the Wells St. location from now on and hopefully they are still the same as they always have been 🤞

Older lady who looks like they tan too long at Planet Fitness was EXCEPTIONALLY RUDE!!

I asked for my burger to be Felix because I like to have lettuce tomato pickles and mayo on ALL my burgers no matter what they already have on it.. she made me feel stupid for ordering it that way, in my suprise even tho I asked and payed for the additional toppings I still received it however she wanted it to come..

What happened to customer service?????
