I have been a longtime loyal Biggby customer for years. The drink quality, customer service, and atmosphere made my favorite $9 drink worth every penny... Until today.
I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at the Illinois Rd., Fort Wayne, IN Biggby. I ordered my usual drink, the iced Teddy Bear w/ skim milk and an extra shot, through DoorDash — a drink I get weekly and normally love — but this time it tasted extremely sour, like spoiled milk. It was completely undrinkable, even after I tried adding my own creamer.
I called the store to address the issue, but the person who answered was unhelpful and dismissive. She told me the drink was probably sour because it had been sitting out too long due to being delivered. I explained that I always order it this way and have never had this problem before. She then blamed the taste on the combination of skim milk and an coffee extra shot, which again, has never been an issue in the past.
When I asked for a replacement or refund, she flat-out refused and told me to contact DoorDash. I informed her that DoorDash had already said it’s up to each individual store to decide how to handle these situations, but she insisted they wouldn’t do anything, stating, “You received the coffee just as you ordered it.”
As someone who has been a loyal Biggby customer, I was shocked by the poor customer service — especially over a nearly $10 drink. It’s disheartening to be treated this way by a business I’ve supported for so long. After this experience, I’ll be taking my business to Five Lakes instead.

Pretty solid little place overall. Their coffee is definitely a bit pricey, but it has good flavor and they have some pretty good variety. I probably wouldn't recommend going every single day, but I'd absolutely recommend at least trying them out!
