We got carryout from Bimi a couple weeks ago. We had several different ramen dishes and everyone enjoyed what they had. Since their ramen is made with miso it's a little different that what you would get from a Vietnamese restaurant, and the variation was really tasty! Fort Wayne is blessed with several pho and ramen choices, and Bimi's ramen is right up there with the best.

When we walked in, we wondered why the place was empty at peak lunch time on a Friday? Upon looking at the menu and seeing the insane prices for standard ramen, we figured it out. We still ordered and I'd give the food a 5/10. But for two people to order ramen a sprite, and a water and have the bill + tip be $43, that's ridiculous. I wouldn't pay more than $10 per bowl/plate at this place. If they don't lower prices and/or improve their food, they'll be out of business soon. It's sad because we need more diverse restaurants with menus like this, but they still need to have the quality that demands the price.

Pretty good ramen, takoyaki and Japanese kimchi. This would be a good alternative place for your ramen cravings to go to if you are near the area.

The service was exceptional, but this review is about the food. Not a fan. When we got there, we were the only patrons in the shop. The food we were served seemed a bit old (like it wasn't fresh but they didnt want it to go to waste so we ended up with it on our plates), the noodles I got from the ramen were very chewy, not tender like expected from ramen. I wanted to give this shop a try cuz I thought it was authentic, but walking inside I realized that wasn't the case and it was merely, "inspired".Based on the photos in the menu, it seemed like the slices of meat were large, but when I got my food, there was almost no meat at all.For the price of $17, you got basically no meat. This place is really expensive but the quality isn't there. The portions were okay overall, and I was full, but I wasn't satisfied.Dumplings both steamed and fried were 5/5, but I'm never going back ? ($7)Just not worth it when I could have gotten a wonderful bowl of Pho (I realize pho and ramen are completely different dishes and cultures, but the bottom line was noodle soup) loaded with chicken or beef from Bahn Mi Barista on Coldwater for nearly half the price. ($10-12)Seriously disappointed. If you want good ramen at a reasonable price, this is NOT the place.

We ordered miso chicken ramen. Chicken and Bamboo shoots where so hard. Broth was flavorless and paid almost $50.00. Would not recommend.

It's a very vibrant and colorful place to be in. So colorful that I just had to take photos. The lady upfront was very sweet, patient, and overall amazing with her service. The ramen was excellent everywhere and I'd definitely come back for more.

Feels like a modern Japanese anime atmosphere. When walking in I turned to my friend and said, "I feel like I just entered Big Hero 6!" Food was top notch and akin to dishes that you would see in the ever popular card game Sushi Go Party! I ordered the spicy miso shrimp tempura ramen dish. Was approximately a five on a 10-point scale for heat. The shrimp were crunchy and the noodles delicious. My party especially loved the spoons provided. Last of all, the server was very observant, bringing an extra cooked egg for one of our party members who had mentioned to our party that she forgot to order it. Our ordered drinks never ran dry!

First visit to Bimi Bistro, prompt service, fresh food prepared quickly. Enjoyed both dishes and would recommend this place without hesitation. Chicken Fried Rice and Shoyu Ramen were the two items we tried.

Nasty is all I can say. We ordered $60 [with tip] carry out. Spicy Miso chicken Ramen w/xtra chkn, and hibachi stir fry beef Ramen and dumplings. The dumplings were fine. The spicy miso chicken was literally the most bland and nasty restaurant food I've ever eaten. The chicken tasted like plain, flat tv dinner turkey, the Ramen and everything else in that gross bowl had zero flavor... not a hint of spicy anything. A 50 cent pkg of store Ramen tastes AMAZING compared to this bowl of blech. My husband's steak Ramen was a tad better as far as having some type of flavor, but Def nothing you would want to ever order or pay for again. We have never NOT liked any Asian foods before this. Panda Express is a thousand times better, if that tells you anything. Just...yuck.

Two bowls of ramen and an appetizer (no drinks) after tax and tip was over $50. Was disappointed in the ramen. Had three slices of meat, a sheet of nori, half an egg (for $16 you couldn't give me a whole egg?) two small slices of fish cake, a minimal amount of scallions and a few bamboo shoots. The broth was just OK - many other places in town with way more depth in the broth. On a positive note the service was on point but this was a one and done for us. Pho Shi, Bahn Mi Pho Shop and Saigon have much better ramen.
