Went in for a continuation of a family member's birthday festivities. We were seated quickly by a really friendly staff. As it was our first time, they answered all our questions and helped us decide. I had the burger made with local beef and a locally baked bun. It was fantastic. We had a great meal and continued our fun!

Bird and Clever has AMAZING food. They're a great place for friends with dietary restrictions because there's always a wide variety of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. They even have spirit-free cocktails (mocktails) for the alcohol-free crowd. ...and for those wondering, yes!... meat and booze are available as well. ;)

First time at Bird & Cleaver tonight & it did not disappoint! The patio is BEAUTIFUL. The whole party enjoyed the array of cocktails. I especially loved the Margo & Self Love. The service was incredibly friendly and was very helpful in pointing us to appetizers to try. Not only did we enjoy the apps, but the entrees were great! I had the best meatloaf I've ever had! Unfortunately, we ran into an issue with two of our original orders running out after we had ordered them, but the servers remedied the situation swiftly, and we all still enjoyed other options from the menu. I think it really speaks of their great service and the popularity of their dishes. We will definitely be back!

A really great and inspiring addition to the FW food scene! We have been to dinner twice now (we would go more often if we lived closer) and had spectacular meals both times. My 6yr old daughter was a huge fan of her asian bowl and still talks about how good it was (yes, it left that big of an impression on a 6yr old). I think they have hit the nail on the head with the amount and variety of options they have on their menu. Though they have MANY vegetarian & vegan options, they are not exclusively so and there are adequate meat options for the average FWian (including a burger). The last time we were there, I got the chicken tacos which were excellent while my wife had the seitan fried chicken dinner meal. Both were equally excellent. They have expanded their offering of craft cocktails, my wife order one and thoroughly enjoyed it. Their beer menu and by the glass wine list are extensive and seem almost a little to extensive given the straightforward and moderately sized menu. The food menu has a very farm to fork feel to it and would love to see the beer menu focus more on NE Indiana breweries. The thing that strikes us the most is the consistency. Since moving to FW 5 years ago, the thing we keep coming back to is the lack of consistency in a lot of the area restaurants. Food, service, ambiance all are very well executed here on each occasion we have dined. They have a super cute patio out back to take advantage of during the warmer months. All around a fantastic addition to FW, one that we hope to watch grow and propser!

I have been to Bird & Cleaver many times because of the fantastically unique food, delicious drinks, excellent service, and most of all, the attention to aesthetics! It's a small but beautiful place and you can really feel the love that goes into every detail. If you're lucky, they'll have the blueberry shrub available. It's worth going for that alone! If you don't have a reservation, expect to wait because it's a popular place, but they always do their best to accommodate.

Probably my favorite restaurant in Fort Wayne! Everything I’ve had has been top notch and it’s such a great environment for lunch, date night or a night out with friends. Love that they’ve opened up outside seating and have carryout options. The staff is awesome, quick, and accommodating. If you’re visiting Fort Wayne, or a local who hasn’t visited B&C, make plans to go asap (and order the hillbilly fondue)!
Love the Decor! The drinks are ?? Delightful. And that after school special is way filling but even tastier. Love their sides and as an Omni even love the vegan options. They use many local vendors and support other small businesses. Great Staff both in the kitchen and at the table service.

Hands down my favorite place to eat in Fort Wayne. The staff is courteous, the food is amazing, the atmosphere is quaint and enjoyable, and the specials are so creative and delicious. If you haven't visited this local gem, do yourself a favor and try it out. The measures they've taken to protect both their staff and patrons during COVID is also wonderful.

I came here with my wife for one of our first ventures out during this pandemic. We felt safe and protected the entire time thanks to the visible thoughtfulness of the staff. We also had a great appetizer, several wonderful drinks, in a calm and romantic outdoor setting. We're glad Bird & Cleaver is in our community and taking this serious issue seriously. Spencier was a great waitress!

How cute is this place?! They accommodate if you are gluten free!!! Our server (Spence?) went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. Only thing I would change was the snobby group of “sorority” girls sitting by us being horrible patrons. Go check out this delicious and unique treasure Fort Wayne has to offer!!!!
