Black Canyon Restaurant

I gave service a one because last evening during our meal which costs close to $400.00 not including the tip! we were asked to leave so they could give our table to another party. We were still eating our dessert at the time! My party immediately emailed Black Canyon last evening and received a response today from the general manager apologizing. However, the manager defended the actions of the staff member, pointing out each reservation has a two hour window from the time of reservation to eat and leave. This will be my first and last experience with Black Canyon.

I once again tried some crab cakes. That is the most eventful and impactful thing that happened on that evening.

Everything went well right up to the point where we were approached by a woman who asked us to wrap it up and clear out to make room for a later party. I spent just under $400.00 inc. tip, for 3 adults, 2 six year old girls and 1 six month old infant. We had finished our meals and were at the table saying our goodbyes while seated when we were approached. We created no disturbances or anything like that, but we're ourselves disturbed by the audacity of the staff person to feel the need to speed up our departure. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and our experience up to that point, and have decided not to return to this restaurant or recommend it to our family and friends.

I had the Filet and Shrimp pasta....kinda mid. Maybe we caught them on an off night but nobody in my group of 10 was Particularly thrilled with their food.

Waitress was overworked and not very attentive. Forgot to tell us what was served/what was not served on sandwiches. Missed drink refills.

Stopped taking carry out orders at 730 when they don't close until 11. Pretty disappointing and kind of ridiculous.

Ashley C. was awesome! Atmosphere is great. Food was super yummy, but a little pricey. $28 for Prime Rib sandwich and fries. The burger was reasonable and my guy said it was super tasty! It sure looked good. I will definitely try the burger next time. 🙂

Vincent was our waiter and he was fantastic! The food was great, just great overall! Salmon salad, filet shrimp pasta, bang bang shrimp!

I am never disappointed when I eat at Black Canyon. It is one of my favorite date night spots! The food is always spot on, the service can be a tad slow, but that is to be expected. Because sure to make a reservation if you plan to go during regular dining times. It is well worth the price and the wait.

Tried them for the first time today and I wasn't disappointed, it was definitely worth the drive for me. I had the 10 oz sirloin steak and loaded bake potato and my husband had the rubs and fries. He's very picky about food and he absolutely devoured those ribs! Lol I was blown away by the flavor throughout the steak it was amazing! We will definitely be returning again. Thanks for the great experience. Oh and if you sit at the bar you have less of a wait time.
