The place was very clean. The workers were super nice and friendly. You can tell the cats there are very well taken care of. My experience was absolutely amazing, and I will definitely come back many more times. I highly recommend! The cafe itself is very cute and cozy, and is a great spot for friends to get together. You can see the cute cats from the cafe side. But it is much better to get to pet the cats :)

I'd give this place more stars if I could, best cat cafe I've ever been to by far. The space is well set up, the cats are so cute, the coffee is great, and the staff are so friendly. Definitely will be here again next time we're in the area.

My son and I visit as often as we're able! We both play with the cats and get some drinks and treats. We absolutely love it! Everyone who works there is a delight. It's so clean that our cat allergies do not act up at all. The baked goods are amazing. Everything about the café is fabulous! I also really appreciate the pro LGBTQ atmosphere as my father was gay, and since he passed away, I can go to this oasis and feel a little less sad (he was the cutest dad ever!).Kid-friendliness: My son feels so welcomed and happy here!

I adored it! My only complaint would be I wish there were special hours that separate children and adults. I was not a fan of how out of control the children acted while I was there, the mother did nothing to stop them from scaring the cats. They were cornering them, grabbing them, and chasing them. It just wasn’t okay. Other than that, I loved it and would go back again.

Decided to visit while in town and had never been to a Cat Cafe before. Black Forest exceeded my expectations! The staff was very nice, welcoming, and gave great recommendations. The coffee was amazing, I had to get another to go. I recommend anyone who loves cats and coffee to visit! The cat room was only $10 which was great for the amount of time that you are able to spend inside the cat room. Overall, it was a great experience and will be back soon! :)

My daughter and I make a point of finding a cat cafe on every road trip. Black Forest Cat Cafe was lucky cat cafe #13 for us and it did not disappoint. The cats were super social and there was plenty of space for both cats and humans. All the cafe items are made in-house and they have some amazing sounding "fancy" (shout out to Bill) drinks! There is also dedicated cafe seating with big viewing windows for those that want to get a little work done, but still see all the kitty cuteness. The mother- daughter team that owns this cat cafe is what really made it stand out to us. They spent time sharing their story and some of the things they do that make the place special. On top of everything , they have had 548+ adoptions in the two years they have been open! We will definitely make a return trip!

It was a very cute space for the cats with lots of enrichment items. We had a great time with the cats. We did not have a great experience with the how many children were present. They were not being watched properly by their guardians and were visibly stressing out the cats. We had to step in and correct them for the cats’ sakes. I realize it would be difficult for a staff member to be in the room at all times to monitor but I think they should keep a closer eye on the situation. Having a limit to how many children under a certain age at one time might help so they aren’t feeding off of each other’s energy and stressing out the cats could be helpful.
