Update: thanks for your response. I'm a fine dining server by profession so that explanations not going to go over my head like it would someone else. You're only a restaurant, stuff happens, however to go in an hour and a half before your listed close time and it already be shutting down doesn't make sense. Change your hours on Google. Also, restaurants do absolutely run out of things on busy nights but your menu is a total of two pages, so for soup and salad and curry and poke and shrimp and grits all to be unavailable. What's that leave? And those are just the things I asked about. Can't imagine what else y'all were out of. Why even hand me a menu? The server might as well have just told me what was left. this seems like mismanagement. Food was delicious though, I'll give you that. I just shouldn't have to ask for 5 things to find something available on a 2 page menu.Lastly, if a guest asks for four different items in a row and you're out of them all, the server really should have a manager come speak to the table.Original: Google has it listed that they don't close until 11. Came in at 930 and was told the kitchen closes at 10, not a problem. However, of the four things I saw on the menu I was interested in they are out of 3 of because the kitchen will be closing in 20 minutes. Should have gone elsewhere

I’ll give it a 2 out of 5.. I ordered the Steak Medallions, and you might as well say I paid for mashed potatoes. The container was full of mashed potatoes and about ( 2 ) 2oz. Steaks. I Paid $32!! I could have gotten a 12 oz steak at Texas road house for $32. Def over priced!In Reply to the response:There is no way! We dine at the places you mentioned and it “seems” so much more worth it. I wouldn’t be returning to buy this. Don’t believe me order it for yourself and be disappointed. AGAIN NOT WORTH IT! Go to Oyster Bar or Baker Street or some where else! Don’t waste your money!

2nd time here! I got the salmon tonight and it was delicious! I love an Old Fashioned and on Saturdays, they are $8! The cheesecake was super creamy, not dry! You will not be disappointed!

The salad bar left something to be desired. Pretty basic. That is the only thing I cannot give 5 stars. Atmosphere was great, each table had room to move and breath. The proof burger was great. I had the mussel and pasta dish, I ran out of pasta before I ran out of mussels and shrimp. I don't know how I cam add this but honestly, the tatertots were amazing. They are tots, I know, but they were actually great. Service was on point. The entire staff was engaged in making our experience womderful.

I went to Proof to have a nice dinner with my grandpa. I had high expectations and yet they were still blown away. The food, atmosphere, and ambiance were fantastic. I can't wait to go back and try something else.

What an enjoyable experience. Drinks and food fabulous and our server Danielle, very informative and the even brought the owner out to meet us for future events. We had the Elote shrimp, Proof-tine, amazing salad bar. With so much already we shared the pan seared Atlantic salmon ,red chimichurri, with sherry honey sprouts topped with basmati toasted pepita. An amazing place and looking forward to future visits. Now heading back to the social lite room for our concert!!

So, I’m not ready to totally diss this place yet. FANTASTIC atmosphere. Exactly what you want from an old Fort Wayne building. Exposed brick, tin/metal ceiling tiles, groovy light fixtures.
Awesome bar, and a lively but not overly loud vibe.
The beer menu was great. Cocktails were good.
While the menu itself was promising, the execution was not “on” last night. The Totchos were outstanding. However, our main meals (I had the salmon, my date had the burger) were massively overcooked. The salmon was barely able to be cut into, and wasn’t even pink anymore but pure white because it was so overcooked. The burger was much the same.
The salad bar was fresh and had a good variety.
Our service was just “ok”. Our server was sort of MIA a lot of the time we were there. We were finished with our appetizer before we were even approached to order dinner.
I’m going to chalk this up to just a bad night and try it again.
We didn’t bring it up at the time because we were enjoying ourselves and really didn’t feel like making a fuss. I know, perhaps we should have but we didn’t.

They were great! We ordered a appetizer and it was OK. But I was super excited for my dinner. When I got the food. The presentation was very pretty. But the food was not good. I thought maybe I was just being picky or my taste was off so I had my husband try it. His face said it all. We are not people to send food back so I just slide it to the side. He tried his food next. He did not enjoy it at all. I tried his food and thought it was better then mine so funshed his meal. But it was all so so bland. Just not good. So I just Ordered another delicious drink. Probably will not go for dinner ever again. Drinks yes!
