what an experience! I don't get out much and was invited out to dinner with a special friend, Ben is Phenomenal! from the intro to the last beer, we were served the delights of fort Wayne last night, the liver mousse ( changed muh life!) the fusion of pickled house made veggies to the mustard seeds, great recommendations and not just because he worked there🤣, thank you Ben. You, Kitty, and Angie really made our night, we will definitely be back💜
This is the only place I look forward to the creativity of what the chef will make next. The food is fantastic!! What is even more impressive is that he will come out and chat with us because he truly is invested in providing a wonderful dining experience.
The food is consistently delicious! The owner is beyond talented and is so kind every visit. We are definitely foodies and this place is by far our favorite.
One of a kind dish, absolutely delicious!!!

You gotta give this spot a try if you love creative food but if you prefer the staples they do that very well also. These dishes are made purposefully so I would recommend not trying to modify anything, just enjoy it. Had a great time and the vibe was perfect, thanks ya’ll.

Ate here last night with my wife. Place was packed but they were kind enough to squeeze us in. Deviled eggs were delicious. The San marzano tomatoes popped on the gnocchi, and the tempura onion rings were delicious as ever. I always wish I had more room in my stomach because all the specials sounded amazing as well. Christmas jazz playing in the background really set the mood. The staff is always on point and very kind. Can't recommend this place enough. Always lovely.

My boyfriend and I visited for the first time last night, because we'd seen so many rave reviews and the first spot we planned for dinner wasn't taking walk-in tables until later in the evening.
First off, the dining area was empty on a Friday at 5:45, which we thought was kind of odd. When we sat down, the chairs were soggy and saggy, so much that it hurt to sit in them. The music in the dining room was so loud we couldn't have a conversation comfortably.
Our server was very nice and attentive. However, we felt bad for him because the chef's specials list was quite lengthy and each dish sounded almost pretentious in its complexity. It was hard to keep track of or be excited about anything on special.
We ordered the deviled eggs as an appetizer, and the flavors were just not there. The mole was weird, the eggs were a bit too soft, and the texture of the dish was too one-note.
I ordered the gnocchi alla amatriciana. There was no bacon or fennel in the dish, and it was drowning in tomato sauce. Not at all what I'd expected from the menu description. It was served in a comically large bowl with tall sides, over which I had to hover to even see what I was eating. Super weird presentation.
My boyfriend ordered the burger, which he said was bland, way too greasy and made him feel "gross" (his exact words). He felt like he had to muscle it down. The onion rings were extremely greasy, over-breaded and - again - comically oversized somehow.
Our dinner cost more than $100 after tip. It feels like we were ripped off, honestly. The bar down the street from our house has better-quality food, and it's half the price with nicer ambiance.
Overall, we left underwhelmed and feeling like we'd be somehow duped or tricked somehow by the glowing reviews. Maybe it was a bad night, but it was surely a poor experience we don't want to repeat.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner the other night. We had such a great time. There was live music, our friendly waiter, and the cook who came out twice to make sure we were happy with the food and to make sure we had everything we needed.
Did I mention the food? The food is fantastic! You can tell when you look at the menu that there is a creative mastermind behind it. Not only that, it was beautifully executed. I’m happy to know there are more upcoming and talented artists in the kitchens in Fort Wayne. We will definitely come back.

His passion shines through in both the food and the experience.

Looked at the reviews and said" let's go for it". 1st impressions is terrible location. 2and impressions is wonderful staff... beware no hard liquor! Lights in dining a bit dim but border line romantic. Rib tips all oinver the place on texture but served with a amazing sauce. Oysters delicious but pricey. Our compliments to or sever Nick.
Parking: Parking sucks at this location.
