We had a great time although the food came in longer than expected. My 9 year old son had said the taste was so good it was worth a wait. The place was warm and cozy, the food was great. It is a great place to unwind from your busy day.

02_27_2024 This was my first time here with my girlfriend and another couple. I had a burger, my girlfriend had the bavette steak and our couple friends split pho meatballs. We had a Caesar salad, baked goat cheese, fried mushrooms. I had a birthday dessert brioche bread pudding, and my girlfriend had panna catta and deviled eggs. ??????????. Ben was our waiter and was great server.??????????.

Finally got around to trying Chance Bar, and I have to say... what a delight. To have this sort of high aspiration restaurant in a neighborhood setting is an amazing treat. Service was absolutely wonderful, and the food was clearly prepared by a master chef, for prices much lower than you would ordinarily find for this level of cuisine. If you're a foodie, Chance Bar is an absolute must, especially in Fort Wayne (but anywhere, really). We look forward to walking over for a casual bite this spring and summer. The only thing that might limit our visits is the fact that we aren't huge meat eaters, and the healthier vegetable options seem fairly limited (although the spinach salad was as good as we've had anywhere). Also, it would be nice to have some options (mocktails, n.a. beers, etc.) for non-drinkers. That being said, you get the impression Chance Bar is the sort of establishment that will continue to evolve on a weekly basis, so we look forward to seeing what the future brings!

There aren’t enough good words to express how amazing Chance Bar was. I’ll start with the service- the service was top notch, our wait staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and super friendly. The atmosphere was cozy, nice but nothing too elegant. It has a quaint, homey vibe. But the food, the food was out of this world. This is big city food nestled in a little Fort Wayne Southside neighborhood. We shared numerous small plates- the Cesar salad was hands down the best we have had, the deviled eggs were fresh, savory, and fantastic, the bread plate did not disappoint, the sweet potatoes stole our hearts! We also sampled the pea soup and beets, which were both great. The meal was wrapped up with the flourless chocolate cake which was elegantly presented with candied oranges and cream fresh (I think). Pick up your phone, make a reservation, and thank me later. Kudos Chance Bar!

Had a great evening of sharing. The goat cheese, sweet potatoes, and rib tips were all a great treat at our table. The wait staff went out of there west to accommodate. Everyone enjoyed their experience.

They're constantly coming up with new offerings to go along with their Mainstays, and the all of the food is consistently amazing! The quality is awesome, the team there is always friendly, and we always get quick service! I tried a new Pho tonight and it was amazing!

Cozy candlelit dinner yet laid back enough to feel comfortable. Portions were generous, food was full of flavor and service was attentive . Can’t wait to go back!

We really enjoyed our first trip to Chance. We had made a reservation and were seated immediately. The service was very good. Atmosphere is clean and quiet enough for good conversation. the deviled egg appetizer was very creamy. The sweet potato app was very good as well I had their burger and onion rings that isn't always on the menu but I guess they make it on request. My wife had their chicken sandwich. All of the food was very good and portions were as well.

Some of the Best Food in the city. Only beer and wine on the drinks side but good beer prices. Friendly service (staff was short the night we were there but still did fine) it's a small intimate setting so best to book table ahead. Food prices are on par with other quality restaurants in the area. Don't skip this place, it's worth your time and money, and the food will have you planning a return visit soon.

My family and I just had a fabulous meal at Chance Bar. There were about 14 of us and Brian, our waiter took great care of each of us. He was knowledgeable and very patient with all our requests and got every order correct with just a few minor exceptions. I highly recommend the Rib Tips and Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich. The potatoes and onion rings were also very good. The wait time may have been a little longer than usual, but it was worth it because the food was hot and delicious! Corey and his staff made us feel comfortable and welcome and I highly recommend you check them out??.Parking: The lot was not very big but it was plowed with easy access to the building. Street parking was also available.
