I never had catfish that was so hard and tough and rubbery I didn't even know catfish could be cooked and taste like that My fried okra was burnt as well muffins over cooked collard greens were okay that's about it Don't think I'll be going back again not the same as when they first open did the man you say $3 for extra piece of fish the guy charged me $3.50 for it so I paid $21 for three pieces of fish and two sides and I only ate one piece of the fish total waste of my money I haven't been this dissatisfied with a meal and a long time very disappointed let's looking for a soul food meal so mad Hawkins wasn't opened for me to try

Seasoning was good, however they LIED & said they sell Catfish and I literally received swai, & I literally asked woman @ window is it real catfish because everywhere, I have been EXCEPT neighbor hood has fake/swai fush trying to pass off as catfish and I definitely know the difference because I am a foody, love food, KNOW food, and FAT so I took plateback and asked for my $$ back because I hate swai fish, INSTANTLY knew it was swai and the OWNER told me it is Catfish, it is swai catfiah...Laughing aloud how rude and disrespectful to lie and think I was ignorant. Try to support all black ? but come on now... Whole real Catfish 4 prices $10/$11..No5 going to hurt pockets or business to sell REAL Catfish good grief, but they are not the only one's in ft.wayne trying to pass swai off as Catfish, SAD

This place is delicious! I got the perch dinner with candy yams and collard greens. Everything was great, with good portions. Loved the seasoning on the fish!!In the video, I had already eaten most of the yams (I couldn’t wait!)

Carry-out is highly encouraged here. You order from a window. If I ever go back, I would call and pick up the order. They have mostly fried food. Basically it's soul food. I ordered wings and it had bread under the chicken which is a good sign. I was satisfied. It has booths for waiting. They have some fish to watch with a tropical beach wall. It's not place to meet people but the food is good. Worth a stop if you are in the '06.
