Arrived right on time for our reservation and stood there for a bit before anyone came to greet us. There were lots of staff going back and forth in front of us but no one acknowledged us - it seemed very weird on a Saturday night. Once we were seated, we sat there again with no one greeting us. The table next to us was seated and their waiter greeted them and got them water. It was 12 minutes before our waitress came to the table. For an “upscale” place this seemed like a very long time. There were several tables open and multiple waiters on the floor so they didn’t seem that busy.
The clam chowder soup, crab cakes, steak & dessert were all good. They brought out the dessert to celebrate our anniversary which was a nice surprise.
I was really grossed out by how dirty the ceiling tiles and vents were. I took pictures - so gross! I’d expect better in the front of a restaurant so it made me think the kitchen might be really bad.
We went here because we had a gift card to use. Can’t say we’ll be back anytime soon.

The staff was kind enough to organize my ability to pay over the phone and surprise my Dad for his 85th Birthday. I’m in Texas. Thank you very much, Stacie!

I am not sure how Chops is considered an upscale restaurant. All they have are upscale prices.. and good service. But that’s where it ends. I had their risotto, which supposedly is something they are known for, and it was inedible. Whatever cheese they used was so overpowering you could only have a bite or two with no relief. The ceaser salad could have been out of a bag, I was upsold on a goat cheese crouton which was not worth it either - big surprise. My friend has steak which probably cost upwards of $50 and it came with sad looking sides. Applebees would have been better. Extremely disappointed and never going back. Drinks were good, beef roll appetizer was okay.

Food is incredible, portion sizes are a bit big, but... you pay for what you get!

We decided on Chop's tonight for dinner specifically due to them having a Gluten Free menu. My husband was diagnosed with Celiac's disease last year and finding "safe" places to eat has been difficult. Unfortunately after being GF for this long, if he unknowingly eats it he is sick for days. We ordered our meals and specifically asked for the waiter to double check if the Chicken Tortilla soup, the filet, and mashed potatoes were all GF. We heard him ask someone in the kitchen about the soup to which they responded with "all the soups are GF". Perfect. Great. Everyone's meals were good. However, 45 mins later my husband is terribly ill. The kind of ill after he's accidentally eaten gluten. Accidents happen. We get it. But we will not be able to come back after this.
Dietary restrictions: They do have a Gluten Free menu. However, I'm not sure how well that's regulated. My husband with Celiacs Disease was ill 45 mins after his meal.

I was extremely disappointed and would not recommend you waste your money at this over priced restaurant.

Food was prepared and served in a timely fashion. Steak was cooked to order although this time my portion seemed smaller than previously. House Moscato and pricing on wine pours is excellent. Will return in the future.

This was our first time there. Absolutely the best steak I have had in years, my other half got scallops, OMG, they were amazing. And their cocktail are delicious as well.

Visiting Ft. Wayne...decided to celebrate friend's birthday dinner at Chop's. Very good service....Wendy was awesome. Steak a little overcooked, but excellent taste. Fried Brussel sprouts and Mahi were amazing. Not a fan of the creme brulee.

My girl-friend and I had a fantastic dinner here! The service, food, and drinks were excellent! One item was a little overcooked but the awesome team there made it right! I highly recommend Chops, and I will definitely be returning!
