This is a wonderful place to have breakfast or lunch. Everything is homemade from the gourmet chicken salad and many other styles of salads. They also have some great hamburgers, cheeseburgers and french fries. Very friendly and convenient.

Comfort Food Cafe is a surprisingly good hidden gem of a place for lunch in downtown Fort Wayne. The grill cooks can put together a great cheese steak sandwich; fries are made to order, crispy and perfectly seasoned; and salads are custom-made from fresher stuff than most places' lunch options. Plenty of other items are available to please just about anyone. Employees are quick and helpful. Unfortunately, drinks other than water are served by the can; no fountain.

From the moment I walked in I felt like I was at home. The owner ,Tammi was just as kind and welcoming as can be! I asked what would be the chef's choice and I was recommended the Burger basket and The Italian beef. Luckily I had a client with me so we ordered both! Both were absolutely amazing and did not disappoint our palate or our eyes. Highly recommend for anyone to stop in and visit it will be a local favorite.

My wife and I were at the Citizens Building downtown to check on some info for our business. We saw that there was a cafe and decided to give it a try. The breakfast was awesome and the staff and owner we're very kind. I loved the biscuits and gravy which are homemade. The prices were very cheap and the portions were big. I will be coming here more often. It is a hidden place that needs to be recognized.
