It has definitely gone downhill since Covid, shame they are only open breakfast & lunch, miss the dinner & beers in such a cool bldg. Feels like they’re trying to be gourmet hipster, but prices are too high and no sense of urgency in delivering drinks or food.

My wife and I have been coming here for many years because it is very unique for the Fort Wayne area. They make incredible soups and really good sandwiches. They’re quite good at their coffees, despite the fact that I don’t drink it! Since Covid, this business has really weird hours which is really knocked back the amount of times we can go here which makes us sad!

After hearing pretty good reviews I was fairly disappointed. I was told the pork stew had shredded pork in the bottom of the brown, but every scoop came up with only veggies and broth. Tomato soup was on par with Campbell’s soup. The grilled cheese sandwiches weren’t bad but one of them slid apart and was all stuck to the plate, so I thought that was really poor form. Pea salad needed something, salt and pepper in the least. The BLT Benedict had a perfectly cooked egg, but the bread had zero crunch and the hollandaise had no zing. The staff was great! Very friendly and attentive. Parking was limited when we went on the weekend, but I think it’s because there’s a few places down there to eat. That said there is a lot not far. There’s definitely tons of other things to try on the menu, but it just didn’t give us enough to add it to our wanna go back list.
They listened and fixed their bread for their jalapeno popper grilled cheese! Was able to try it with the original bread and it was amazing and worth every penny!

We had a secret agent call in an order and order us some food. We were ecstatic when we found the bread has come back! Yippee, we pray we never get the catastrophe of that horrible tiny bread we were served earlier. It was injustice for Fort Wayne. As long as the bread stays from now on, we will be happy customers.
