The Dash-in is one of our favorite downtown restaurants. This last visit I had a salad and had an avacado cream dressing that was so good I could eat it by the spoonful. We like eating indoors and on their small patio in the summer.

Really used to love this place, but was very disappointed in the grilled cheese that is usually good here. We ordered the buffalo chicken, I and I am not kidding, there was like 4 tiny cubes of chicken in the whole thing. Like soup can sized cubes… and for almost 20$ the food seems to have gotten more expensive and smaller. Probably won’t visit anymore unfortunately after the last experience.

The Dash-In is such a vibe. It has some of the best sandwiches in the Fort, which are their various iconic grilled cheeses. And don't forget the tomato soup (or the kettle chips) on the side - it's to die for! Service is always friendly and the place is cozy, historic, and has a lot of greenery and decorations. I love it!

We tried the curry carrot soup that day which I highly recommend. Delicious. We chose to eat brunch but their menu was full of fantastic choices . Met the owner and was highly impressed with her culinary expertise. Dash In is a must if you’re in the Ft Wayne area. It’s the place for great atmosphere, food, drink, and local art.
I have gotten to go a few times for burlesque shows and dash in has been a great space that feels safe with friendly people .
