The chocolate is tasty, certainly better than Russell Stover (and there is nothing wrong with Russell Stover, mind you), but the prices are bordering on absurd. Each Christmas, I will purchase a few of DeBrands' 14-piece samplers for work colleagues. At $30.00 a piece, it's a bit steep. I nearly fell over when i realized i was paying hundreds for chocolate. I don't recall exactly what I paid last year, but this years purchase was a shock. I also recall last year...
No artificial ingredients or preservatives. Wonderful chocolate blend of European & American. But they are out pricing themselves. The apples are anywhere between $20 & up depending on the nuts. Mine was the smallest 1 they had, and it was 23.94 w/no nuts. That's crazy no matter how good it is. I bought some classics for my kids & only got 2 ea because of their price point. It's a little cheaper if you buy a box & ask for a few clear bags w stickers...
The staff are friendly and helpful. They have seating roughly for 30 people. It's more a date place to go after a movie or walking around Jefferson pointe. It's locally owned and made in Fort Wayne. You can get a box of chocolates as well as drinks and ice cream. If you need to get something sweet any time of the year.
