The worst food I've ever had to pay for. I suspect we've been pranked by Ember Smoked BBQ – the oh-so-hip-and-edgy (read the "clever" text throughout their website).
Our experience with food from an Ember in Fort Wayne, IN (via DoorDash) was consistent with what I'm seeing in the majority of reviews here and elsewhere, online.
"Badass Brisket" sandwiches: tiny little bits and pieces (too small and thin to be called "chunks") pressed into the buns -- dry, bland, dank. Never tried Arby's brisket sandwich; but it had to be better.
The SALT(!!!) and chili powder in the baked beans was so overpowering that we felt like we should look around for cameras aimed to catch our reactions to being pranked.
"Waffle Fries?" No, we received traditional fries with such soggy texture and unappetizing appearance that they seemed to have been days-old, warmed and rewarmed.
The "Crispy" potato skins were anything but. Also seemed days-old based on appearance, texture, and flavor.

We ordered food from here for work and the ribs are not rib tips like stated when ordering, we only got 1 out of the 3 Mac and cheeses we ordered. The ribs are a bit dry and they don’t give you bbq sauce for them either. The green beans were good though.

Had your ribs I’m from Texas and have to say well done green beans need some bacon and ham in my baked beans but that’s a Texas thing but the food was great I would put sauce on the side because your ribs are cooked good and good food don’t need sauce thank you very much

We had a nice time dining at Logan’s. They have good food, friendly service, but it gets busy early. We arrived at 4pm and they had a 20 minute wait time. I couldn’t imagine what the wait time would be around 7:00 or 8:00. If you do get there early, you can take advantage of some of the deals they offer some meal options from 3:00-6:00. The peanuts that they offer are good to munch on while waiting for your meal. I feel bad that they have to sweep up the shells each shift so I gather mine onto a plate. They don’t mind that you throw them on the floor though.
I went to pick up my online order. The take-out order was on the counter. I went to grab it. The person responsible for online orders said “NAME” rudely. I gave her my name, and she pushed my order towards me, which almost tipped over. She never said anything after that. I continued to look into my order to see if everything was there. She once again, in a rude tone, said, “Everything is there.” Guess what she was wrong. Something was missing. She was reluctant to get the item. I talked to the manager Jennifer who did some service recovery to the best of her ability. I always had excellent service. Maybe she had a bad day.
The mashed potatoes were clearly boxed instant potatoes but the waitress insisted they were authentic. Then the manager also refused to admit the obvious. When I gave her the out that possibly they were usually homemade but perhaps they were out so the cook whipped up a batch of instant while they were making more, she continued to deny ever using instant. Everyone at the table tried a bite and it was so clear these were boxed. Lying about what you are serving your customers is not acceptable. Many people, including myself, have food allergies and sensitivities and cannot tolerate additives in boxed foods.
DoorDashed , 2 Racks of ribs with sides and hush puppies. Missing 1 rack of ribs , incorrect sides , and we got something that looks like smash burgers and fries. The order ticket was correct .1 star , because the smoked corn was decent.
Stopped in for supper on 10/2/2022 and ordered a ribeye medium well. The first one came out well done and swiveled up. The second was bloody. This is not the first time our meals at Logan's was bad. The other Logan's was just as terrible. It is either the poor meat quality or the ownership of the 2 franchise
Ordered through doordash. Forgot my sauces for my brisket and my fried chicken. The brisket had a funny aftertaste and the fried chicken was dry. The mac and cheese was just okay. The only even good things were the corn with bacon and the fries, rest was just sad for what I paid.
So far so good the ribs are on point

Excellent customer experience and Food
One word describes this place “AWFUL”, I couldn’t even finish. I would say if I had to use another it would be tasteless. Ribs- they may have been pretty tender but they totally lacked any flavor, the meat was like a dry fried pork chop, sauce was so-so and if (I doubt it) used a rub at all it didn’t penetrate. Corn- canned corn with bacon blah. Coleslaw- tasted off. Mac&cheese - just barely better than the box stuff. And last the potato- boring, it had some mild flavor on top but again nothing penetrated into the heart of the potato !! I waited so long to try this place and I was sadly disappointed!!!!!
Never again!! The Bar-B-Q was burned. I have pictures. Plus, they gave me unseasoned canned green beans. Nasty!! Never again!
Let me start off by saying, I cannot leant a review for the one being ran out of Smokey Bones. However, I can see similarities in my order done there.
Ribs were so incredibly dry. What soft portions I did find were nothing but fat. Wings are small, and almost slimey. They forgot my waffle fries, and the hush puppies are nothing to write home about. The Mac and Cheese for some reason had an apple piece in it? Some kind of cinnamon apple. I will NOT be ordering from there ever again. Also knowing this came from Smokey Bones kitchen, makes me question ever going there again too.
Had this ubered to me twice. Incredible food. They also added their own touch in the baked beans and the macaroni to add a bit of spice. I may just have to come in some time.
