We were married at Empyrean 8.1.2020. I mainly worked with Alex on all of our planning needs and I really cannot say enough great things about her. She made me feel as at ease as she could while planning our wedding in the middle of the current pandemic. She recommends only vendors that she swears by and pretty much anything you want/ask for, she will make it happen.. My flowers were absolutely AMAZING and the décor did not disappoint. I have read reviews from people complaining about the food and I am so surprised because we were told by most of our guests that the food was some of the best they have ever had at a wedding! When my future wife and I were looking at venues, we were attracted to Empyrean not only because of the gorgeous settings and a 360-view of Fort Wayne, but also because of the professionalism and care Alex Kenny, Rebecca Admire, and the rest of the Empyrean team put into our wedding from our first meeting to the last song at the reception.Alex worked with both of us throughout the year-plus between our first meeting and our wedding to help plan the perfect day for us - from linens and floral arrangements to crafting the menu to the minute detail. On the day of our wedding, Alex and Rebecca were there from start to finish, making sure the wedding went off with no hitches and checking up on us throughout. They also made sure we were not drink-less at any part during the reception!In addition, the venue itself fit perfectly with our basic, no-frills requests with the open tall windows casting a gorgeous sun-lit view during our ceremony. The golden hour also made an appearance during the reception with a beautiful sunset visible across many of the open tall windows as well.We couldn't thank Empyrean enough for being the venue that honored our requests, served delicious food and drinks, and provided amazing service from the top down. Wow, what a dream wedding my husband and I had that was brought to life by Empyrean Events and Catering! Alex Kenny (wedding coordinator) was absolutely amazing. Responsive, creative, prompt, sweet, and extremely professional. I would recommend her and Empyrean over and over again. Due to covid, we had to move from having our wedding at their venue to my parents backyard... but Empyrean brought the decor and catering to us. Our guests raved about the catering and presentation of the tables and flowers.My bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets were insane! Seriously, I wouldn't have changed a thing. I would recommend using Empyrean for flowers in a heartbeat!Basically, Empyrean can do absolutely everything for your wedding day, but they also allow you to pick and choose what you utilize them for. It’s pretty awesome. Alex is basically a “built in” wedding plan, and thank goodness for that. She is seriously the best of the best. Beautiful venue on the 25th floor will a gorgeous view of downtown Fort Wayne. 10 of 10 experience! Attended a wedding, greeted as we exited elevator. Beautiful decorations. Staff was professional and so pleasant! After the wedding we were directed to a bar area for cocktails while wedding photos were taken. Staff circulated with hors d'oeuvres. There was a fun photo booth area that everyone enjoyed. The wedding party then joined for a couple drinks and then all 125 of us were directed to dinner. Gorgeous decorations. The staff was right on mark with the entire meal. The salad was great. The filet mignon was fork tender w mashed potatoes and asparagus. Our water glasses were never empty, plates removed promptly. The staff made sure we were 100% taken care of at all times. The bar tenders were professional and extremely attentive too. I noticed a couple of people working that were in charge and they handled everything smoothly and it was seamless. I truly recommend this venue for weddings and any event. They nailed it and the bride and groom seemed to have no stress and a lot of fun. Well done!
