Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que (To Go Only)

This is so sad ?. Really enjoyed their food the first delivery. The second was practically spoiled chicken. With no reimbursement from DoorDash or Granite City. The manager would not even come to the phone. Do better ???

1 year ago, I gave a bad review.I humbly eat my words ,just as well as the excellent meals I and my wife had, on this cold snowy 2/16/2024.The new owner ask me 11months ago to give them another crack at their 5 stars service. Now that Famous Dave's being under new ownership. I did not go back until now. for that I am sorry, today I did! O'wow the food is[ Award Winning and so is the Service].I was waited on by an excellent customer service minded young man by the name J.R. I felt respected and appreciated ;what a wonderful different than 1 year ago. To the owner" I say double the 5 stars to you and your awesome team!!! TO YOU THE READER. If you love Good Food that great and affordable the only thing in your way is You, Air and Opportunity.ENJOY YOURSELF, YOU DESERVE IT, YOU'RE BE BACK FOR MORE!!!!

Worst excuse for brisket I've ever had.

the restaurant didnt pu all the items in our carry out that was listed on the website for the feast for 2 meal. . No coleslaw in order, beans were single serving not enough for 2-3 people as stated in description, perhaps because when hostess dropped the tub of beans, which looked a pint and replaced with a single serve 1 cup container. brisket was mostly fat. meat was not hot, although we picked up the order on time.. really disappointed since the food was so good the first time we ordered from there.

None Authentic, taste like left overs, BBQ sauce covers up the cold/old food. This is not Famous Dave’s Quality, very disappointing to the name. Go to Shigs and Pit, like I said hate to say this because Famous Dave’s is normally very good just this ghost kitchen is not cutting it.

Ordered online for two take -out meals,call to confirm.Confirmation was given 20-25 mins.Drove 5.5 miles when I arrived, Associate Josey remember online acceptance and confirmation call,even the tip I told her, she would recieve by taking care of business, nothing was done, no order ,no food,and of course no respect.Her manager treat me as if I was at fault.Bad, bad customer service or was it because I am a black senior citizen??? I don't know! but everyone white had no reason for complaint.I left as I came, empty-handed and money in wallet.I would give no stars if possible. Famous Dave's need to train personel better.

Had it for the 1st time at work an was kinda mixed on the food, the bbq sauce was really good, but the meat on the ribs seemed a bit lil like | | much meat on the bones. The corn on the cob was actually good for a restaurant, Chili's failed on there corn on the cob.

I ordered on grubhub and got moist three meat platter. Was super delicious. BBQ flavor was off the charts. I got it in 45 min. It would be a five but the chicken was still a little red ......overall delicious

Place preorder an hour and a half early still took 45 min for me to get my food from scheduled time, the brisket was bland as saltines, the chicken was dry, the french fries were cold, the Mac and cheese was so over cooked that it was damn near paste, as a chef this place was absolutely revolting and the service sucked never again will I step foot in granite city or order the bland over cooked bbq

Great food great service. Tom the manager made our dinner more special than I thought it could be thank you so much. If you have a craving for bbq you gotta try this place ❤️

Ribs are average but nothing like the authentic Famous Dave's.
