A good whole-in-the-wall style restaurant with simple food and fast friendly service. Tap-to-pay is available but only at the back counter, so be prepared to hand your device to someone.
Edit: they FINALLY have wireless tap-to-pay, so you don't have to hand your phone over to pay. It's a small thing, but it makes a BIG difference.

Great little place to stop for a couple of old fashioned coney dogs. If you close your eyes, you can almost imagine what it was like back in 1914 when it first opened. Small menu, but that's ok. We really enjoyed the dogs...the steamed buns were spot on and the coney sauce was everything I wanted it to be. If you want to make it extra tasty, order the chili soup and dip your dogs in there! If I happen to pass through Ft Wayne again, I'll definitely stop in.

Voted the best coney dog in the world by several sources and for good reason! Very kid friendly and nostalgic.
The place is frozen in time. Coneys are $1.95 with or without the coney topping. If you park in the rear you can use the back door that takes you through the kitchen.
