Food wasn’t great and they charged me 41$ for two plates and two drinks don’t waste your time go to Tokyo buffet instead it’s cheaper and better food

Dinner buffet. All food was not hot. Much was old and dried out. Staff was truly wonderful, especially very preggers hostess. Something did not set well and has caused heavy indigestion. (I'm very familiar with Chinese food as I was English speaking friend of owner for Chinese Catering in West Chester PA. I managed on site at catering events, to effectively communicate needs to commissary.)
At Great Wall, Sushi was very fresh, well iced and identified. Wonton and pot stickers were dried out n cold. Fillings tasted off. Appetizers were stale and not appetizing at all. Hot n Sour soup and Wonton soup were not traditional flavors. Glass dividers have not been cleaned lately. Poorly maintained. Salmon was overcooked and dried out with slimy overcooked lemon slices. Skin on Salmon did not resemble Salmon skin to me, texture was wrong. Salmon did not really give off Salmon aroma. Prime Rib was very tasty, but did not hold heat walking to my close by table. Medium rare to well. Cut your own, but knife was not sharp and tore slices. Very few customers for the quantity of prepared foods, 9 customers, food supply adequate for 60-75. Monday evening buffet at 8pm. Last time. 2-3 years ago was similar. Over-all, nice variety of foods. Mongolian Grill was fully stocked but no chef. Since many Chinese restaurants here are closed on Monday, I expected a crowd. I will try a lunch buffet before I write them off. Non-alcoholic drinks are pricey and extra and that is not communicated until your bill is presented. Was expecting a $14.95 bill that cost $22, with $2.00 discount coupon applied.

Horrible service. Our waitress didn’t get us water till we had to hawk her down to ask. I asked for 3 cups. She only came back with 2. 30 minutes later we’ve been dying of thirst (it’s a Chinese restaurant, everything is salty, this should be a given) and she finally comes back. We ask for refills and she only refills one cup and leaves again, despite both being obviously empty and next to each other. Silverware was not clean. Food scraps were stuck on them. Food options were standard across pretty much every other Chinese buffet in the state we have eaten at but the food did not taste good or the same. We all went home feeling sick and rushed to the bathroom. My 2 year old starts puking everywhere in her sleep. Never coming back here again.

The only benefit is that it’s slightly cheaper than some other buffets. However, you’re really better off just paying the extra $5 total eating anywhere else

The food was seriously lacking flavor — not what you want when you’ve been craving something good all day. My sister and I still made sure we got our money’s worth (because we don’t play about food), but the service? A mess from start to finish. The hostess didn’t even bother to greet us or make eye contact, just pointed like we were supposed to read her mind. Thankfully, our server was the saving grace and actually did their job. But when it came time to check out, the hostess was back with the same energy — no eye contact, just attitude and a stank face. I’m not one to jump to conclusions, but let’s just say she was all smiles with everyone else but us, and it did not go unnoticed.
