Been eating here for 45 years, like the food and the staff. Lunches are my favorite.

We tried going here for dinner at 8:40 PM on a Wednesday night, when they close at 9. The doors were locked and we couldn't even enter. Locking the doors 20 min before closing is ridiculous.

They got my order wrong and microwaved my biscuits and gravy what you do not do it's a health code also I talked to no manager to rectify or no discount was even offered considering the microwave my biscuits and gravy and gave me the wrong order and I also ordered takeout and they still charge me full price even though they messed up my order I am very disappointed in this company I've always liked it but at this one it is not good do not come here I will be calling the Health Department so I paid full price for food that I did not order because of poor management and bad service it's very unacceptable I will be calling the Health Department

So our waitress was nice, but the food was terrible, bland, they served us over cooked toast, even had the butt ends. The spinach artichoke had melted cheddar cheese on top and which gave it a really weird flavor, also tasted freezer burnt.
I got the prime rib open faced sandwich that tasted like it was boiled in water, served ontop of very soggy un-toasted Texas toast. Gross. the only flavor it had was if you dipped it in the horsey sauce. I took two bites out of it. The Mac and cheese was grainy and tasted old. The Cole slaw was ok. The deep fried cod had no flavor. Basically if you want some unseasoned food that’s hardly sub par this would be your spot. They did offer to take my meal off the bill but we went ahead and paid, took it home for the dogs.
Love to go for Sunday dinner. Fried chicken and the swiss steak are great.

Just what we wanted and needed after a very long day at the genealogy center. Beautiful homes along the route. Glad the community supports these kind of local restaurants.

Our first time at this "Halls" we receded right away, the server was quickly there got our drinks , brought our food very friendly very good service. The photo doesn't do it justice. The pan fried fish was very good, as well as the fries and slaw. We would definitely go back. And a tip of the hat to Katie our server she was wonderful.
