Hour late still no cake. No one will answer our calls.Already a hard birthday.3 hours later still no call back and no cake. I just want a freaking refund. Ruined my birthday.Finally just drove to the bakery. Wanted to wait until we were more calm. We went in of course they claimed their computer said it was for pickup. We showed them our order number and that it was scheduled for delivery at 11 am, they did apologize. We asked then about our multiple missed calls. They didn't check them until that moment. (Around 330pm) We just wanted a refund but they also included the cake.The cake itself was good. (It was a carrot cake) but the cream cheese icing was bad. Just tasted like buttercream.We won't personally be returning but appreciate them trying to make things right.

We wanted a cake for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. I had the idea that I wanted it decorated as a $50 bill and Hall's did a superior job for us. It was beautiful, well executed and had wonderful flavor. They had it ready on time as promised and it was a big hit at the celebration.

I have bought many beautiful and tasty cakes from Hall's. So I don't know what has happened since they moved locations. My husband bought cupcakes for my birthday shaped into the numbers of my age. The cupcakes were so dry. The decorations minimal. It cost over $40. Kroger would have been much better and cost a lot less.

Don Hall's Takes the Cake made a cake for my parent's 60th anniversary dinner at Triangle Park last night. The cake was delicious and beautifully decorated. Great pains were taken to get it to the restaurant early so it could be delivered to our table. I couldn't be more pleased! ☆☆☆☆☆ star service.

A big shout out to Halls Takes the Cake, who made our adoption cake for a dinner Sunday that we had for family and some special guests after Izzy's dedication service. The restaurant cut and served the cake without us ever seeing the cake that Izzy had ordered (through me), and she was upset, understandably, that she and no one else had a chance to see it. I called the company to see if maybe someone had taken a picture for their book that they could send to me and explained

I've been using Halls for my daughters birthday cakes for the last 3 years. They ALWAYS taste amazing, but when I picked up my daughters cake yesterday, although it was gorgeous, we were disappointed that Olaf was not on the cake like I had requested and provided them a photo of the exact cake we were wanting at the time of ordering. The lead Baker said she had made Olaf before and that it wouldn't be a problem.
This company destroyed two of my cakes on two separate occasions. I can't believe the sloppy service and dishonest staff.

I have been, as well as most of our family members, ordering from Halls for many, MANY years. They have some of the best cakes around and do all sorts of custom cakes. I have never been disappointed with the quality and I know if I want a great tasting cake, that is my first stop. They are always on time with their deliveries and usually even early to make sure we have time to prep for it. They deliver to all locations even on the weekends. Pricing is reasonable for sheet cakes, but gets a little high for my liking when it comes to multiple tiers. I have also never ran into any issues with communication. They quickly respond to all emails and phone calls. All around, I can always count on them no matter what the occasion. I'll post pictures here soon of all the examples of cake we have ordered

No they baked the wrong size no discount at all no time for a new cake baby shower today. Nice looking cake just wrong order would I use them again probably

The cakes at Hall's used to be delicious and very creative. Last year for our son's third birthday we requested a Disney/Pixar Cars cake. We asked them to make it yellow and red with a racetrack on it and Lightning McQueen. The lady taking the order was really nice and she said she would make the perfect cake. The day of his birthday we went to pick up the cake and it was a green cake with a race track and two Hot Wheels cars on it. It was not anything to do with the movie Cars. They apologized and gave us a ten dollar credit. This year we ordered a soccer cake. We requested it to look like a soccer ball or at least have it iced like a soccer ball in black and white. We were very specific and mentioned the ten dollar credit because of the previous cake not being what we ordered. The day of his birthday we went to pick up the cake and it was a green cake with six plastic men playing soccer on it. They charged us 70.00 for it which happened to be ten dollars more than quoted but then a ten dollar credit was subtracted from that. So basically we didn't get a ten dollar credit at all. The cake was mediocre at best. The frosting was hard and a bit stale. We bought a 26.00 cake at Meijer that was beautiful, fresh, and exactly what we wanted.
