My new favorite restaurant! The four of us just ate here and had a wonderful meal. The area that we sat was quiet and cozy. Nice atmosphere! Love the prohibition theme. Service was excellent! Mickey (sp?) was very attentive and fun! Then was the food! Way above average that you typically find here in Fort Wayne! All of it was flavorful, portioned and presented well. The sirloin pork chop was cooked to perfection and presented with a unique and tasty sauce and spinach accompaniment. The fried macaroni and cheese that came with it was amazing. Definitely try the spinach salad, fresh and flavorful. Wife had a truffle type burger (can’t remember the name). That was decadent! Rich and delicious! Sister in law had the lobster roll which wash fresh and tasty. Also, the make a really good sazarac (sp?) cocktail with an awesome branded ice cube.

We have eaten at the new restaurant two times and the quality of service and food is unsurpassed! We have sat at the bar rail two times. Sydney has served us. She is amazing. We’ve had hamburgers as well as salads and they’re amazing! we love this place and will be coming back as many times as possible!

This review is for the Potato Jalapeño Chowder as it was the only item we ordered. If it was just me, I’d probably let this slide but it affected my lunch guest with the same symptoms, as well. It made us both very ill and I will leave it right there. Would I visit again, maybe? But I would never order this particular chowder, again. It was tasty, absolutely, but again those ingredients did not bode well for either of us.

My husband and I came with our 14 month old for my birthday dinner with very high expectations, we dined at the old location and it was one of the best experiences! Today was sadly not the best experience, I made a reservation for the dining room and when we got there we were sat outside. No one asked us if we wanted to sit outside, it was 90 degrees and with a little one that can be dangerous. The hostess sat the menus down and then left not giving us the chance to ask any questions.

It took 15 minutes to get our drinks, my husband got a coke and never got a refill, it took another 15 minutes for our appetizers to come out, we placed our food order and it took another 40 minutes for our food to come out. I ordered the shrimp scampi and it came out with no shrimp…. We got our little one a grilled cheese with fries and they were saltier than anything I have ever eaten. The food was decent overall.

When it was time for the check we got our bill and we had gift cards to use, our waitress took the check with the gift cards and my husbands debit card and was gone for 15 minute, came back and said she can’t find her manager to run the gift cards. We were sitting there sweating hot with an angry toddler who was rosey red by the end of dinner.

We came in with high hopes and left feeling let down.

Love everything about this place. The new location is beautiful, the food is wonderful, and the service was excellent. I said only $$ not $$$ since we didn't get any mixed drinks and chose less costly meals, but it can add up quickly. Wonderful date idea! Dress up for sure.

We have been going to Hideout 125 as it is one of our favorite restaurants for years now. This was our first experience at the new location. Our booth was located in the bar area, but back behind the bar so it wasn't appealing to just see the back of the bar and all the bottles, etc. The temperature was uncomfortably warm. We heard other patrons complaining as well. By the time our dinner arrived, we had gotten too warm. We took a few bites then asked our waitress to box the rest to go. Although the new building was aesthetically nice, we prefer the old Hideout better.

We went for our anniversary because we had received a generous gift card. Our meal was good, the service was fine although a bit slow in getting our starter plates. We were given a nice little dessert of chocolate raspberry because it was our anniversary. When we went to pay with our gift card the waitress returned saying the machine that takes gift cards was not set up yet and returned the gift card to us saying that the machine should be up and running in a few days. Why would they not tell us that upfront? That completely put a damper on our celebration.

Opening the new Hideout 125 was highly anticipated on our side of town. I made a reservation for my birthday. They did not disappoint! The ambiance was spot on. The new location features four distinct dining areas. The first is what I would call a club room, which is very nice for couples and small groups. The second is what I would call a family room, featuring larger tables and a kid-friendly atmosphere. The third is the bar area, featuring a large bar rail, ample seating, and a bit of noise. The fourth is the undercover outdoor space. Although I didn't walk through it, I usually love outdoor spaces. Finally, there is a lovely, exclusive private room that seats 15 people or more. Overall, the food was delicious. I had the lobster with squid ink pasta, which was delicious. Friends had the surf and turf and loved it. We were fortunate to have Mickie as our server, who was everything a server should be. Vibrant, extroverted, if she didn't know the answer, she found out, all in all, delightful. Overall, I give the new restaurant a 5-star rating.

Made a reservation last week on Open Table for Monday June 9, received a text on June 8 asking me to confirm (which I did) We show up at the time of my reservation (the lobby was complete chaos) the front desk couldn't find my reservation. He asked me if I made it on Open Table and when I answered yes he told me they no longer use open table. Lesson learned that when using open table you should also confirm directly with the restaurant, if you want to be sure you have a table. What a complete mess.

We sat in the bar, which was a cute space but was fairly loud which can be overstimulating for some. I am gluten-free and there was nothing labeled on the menu, but staff was very knowledgeable and the gluten-free bread was absolutely delicious. Our waiter was helpful with recommendations overall and very attentive. They were opening a new location and would definitely check that out!

Excellent food as usual, service was fantastic, Tyler was a great server. Can't wait for the new location to open.
