Fried rice was more like Jasmine rice and undercooked, one tiny piece of pork in the "pork fried rice", was not fried. Dish that was to be "spicy hot" was bland. Will look somewhere else next time.

Worst Experience EVER!!!

I’ve been a regular customer at this restaurant for a while, but after tonight’s experience, I won’t be coming back. We ordered two General Tso’s chicken dishes, and both were absolutely disgusting. The chicken was so overcooked and chewy that it was inedible.
We tried to call several times to report the issue, but no one answered the phone for over 90 minutes. When we finally got through, the manager told us we had to return the food for a refund. When I went back to the restaurant, I asked if we could get a coupon or discount on our next order to make up for all the trouble. The employee literally started laughing at us.
The lack of customer service, the awful food, and the rude response have left a bad taste in our mouths—both literally and figuratively. We won’t be returning.

The older couple who usually run it have not been there. Food has went down hill. Taste like grease. And egg roll has changed for worse. Hope the couple come back the food used to be excellent.

Usually I would give Hong Kong a 3-4 rating, but wanted to review for this specific meal. Ordered 6/24/24 and the General Tso’s chicken was better than we’ve ever had here or any other place in FW for that matter. My wife is typically reluctant to go here but she was very happy with the quality (especially the chicken - was smaller pieces and all very good, no tendons). If they keep this up, it may be a weekly stop for us. Great work!

It was late afternoon and not very busy, so a few of the dishes were not so fresh. But we found plenty to eat. There was no air conditioning, only a fan. If we knew that ahead of time, we would not have ate here. Plenty of parking.

Had the chicken noodle soup with crispy noodles, curry beef with fried rice, and egg roll. Egg roll was decent. Everything else was a bust. Soup was tasteless. Crispy noodles were stale. The curry beef, which is one of my favorite dishes, was tough, and tasted like freezer burn. I find this "freezer burn" quality at many Chinese places here in Fort Wayne. I'm surprised I seem to be the only one noticing it.
The staff did check up on me a couple times, as I dined in. They were nice enough, but they seemed not to take me too seriously when I said the meat was tough and tasted like it had sat in the freezer for awhile. I never really understood it when the waitstaff or management asks you how everything is, then proceeds to try to make you look like you're weird and/or mistaken, and/or have an uncultured palate, for pointing out when something just isn't that good.
I'd actually come in with another dish in mind: "Chicken Two Ways." I'd seen it on their online menu, but unfortunately, they don't offer it anymore. It would be nice if some Chinese places in Fort Wayne would offer some lesser known dishes like "Chicken Two Ways." I'm getting a bit bored with the standard fare.
