We always do a "Fancy Valentines Meal" for the family every year on Valentine' Day and purchased 7 Filets from Jamison for our meal this year. On the following Friday my wife and I went to Ruth's Chris for a special dinner. For those of you that haven't been, Ruth's Chris is very good, but it's also VERY pricey (more than it's worth honestly). Price aside, I can honestly say the Filets from Jamison's were of better quality, and literally fork tender. I'll be back for Filets and Tri-Tip next time!

This is a great place to get meat. The prices and quality of the meat here is superior to any of the grocery stores around. The Jamison bacon is the best!

Our experience, with the North Anthony, Fort Wayne, IN location, was infuriating. We were overcharged and had the receipt for the purchase no more than an hour before we called them and were treated like we stole something. We got the meat for tonight’s dinner and the manager insisted we bring the meat in in order to get the refund. The female I spoke with previously said we could come the next day to get the refund and did not once mention me bringing in the meat for inspection.we don’t want the meat if the manager is going to touch, breathe or blow on my meat! He accused use of lying. Who lies to get maybe $5 bucks!!!? We will never spend our hard earned money in ANY Jamison Meats shop!! I will let as many people as I can know about our treatment.

Not a good place.Staff is not helpful and offers bare minimum conversation about anything.Any questions you have you are given a basic not informative answer. No smiles when you walk in which is not very inviting.I called to ask about some various prices twice. The 1st time was hung up on the 2nd time I just ended up coming in and it was no better.I would not recommend this place. There are much better butcher shops.

I went in today to get a holiday roast for my family for Thanksgiving. As I walked in there were about 5 employees situated behind the different stations.I smiled and continued to walk toward them but I was not greeted an there was a dead silence in my approach. As I reached the counter I continued to smile and I said" hi" one of the butchers said to me in a very dry and straight to the point tone " what can I do for you"? I asked "Do you guys have roast" He replied again in a very dry and unhelpful manner "what kind" I stated "beef", he again replied"what kind" At this time I was starting to feel a little embarrassed because I am not familiar with the types so I replied" I don't know I guess just beef" He responded in an irritated manner "there's all kinds of beef"I began to look around in the roast area and I saw Chuck roast and another kind I asked "Do you guys have bigger than this"He at this point was not trying to hide how irritated he was and he replied"What is it you want that's one cut we have different cuts" By this time the awkwardness of the situation had really turned me away from attempting to go any further I just replied "It's okay I'll come back with my husband"During this whole ordeal the entire place was quiet and there were multiple employees just standing around none of them attempted to assist me in understanding or choosing which one I wanted.Im sorry Mr.Butcher that I went to school and got an education but not in Meatology.Ill be sure to know the blood type, age, lineage, and all of the other specifics before ever attempting to come in your meat office.Just an FYI to all the women who shop for their husband's but might not know every detail just bring your husband's with you I'm sure you will get treated much better.

Blood filler in the bacon...so sad because it is the last good item here worth buying. All other meats have gone down in quality and were better served by Sam's club in that area. As an addition we purchased 4 lbs of bacon and the butcher kept all the big fat pieces hid under the paper....at a 4 lb package you'd think I could get some of that in my purchase instead of it going home with staff probably. Been a customer for 15 years....and sadly I think we're parting company. Another on bites the dust.

Great place to get fresh meat. The Kabobs are made fresh & delicious. The only down thing about this, they need to get another store opened on the south side of town. It was so much more convenient. I hate going to the north side of town.

Spent 90 bucks today on some Delmonico Steaks and they slipped 2 of these trash pieces of meat in the middle of the stack. Never again. I can literally get better steaks at Wal Mart for a portion of the price. Should have stuck with Didier.

Been associated with Jamison's sence the mid '70s. Still a great place to shop and visit.

Some of the best local meat, every employee is extremely inviting and friendly. One of my favorite places to purchase meat.
