Two stars because of one thing. Would be a five star if not for this one problem..... Jeff's Coney. You need new servers. The one particular lady. Runs them away with rudeness and disrespectful ways. I'm sure many many others would agree. Sorry Jeff. I'll return and see if things have changed soon.

Never been there, so I figure I would stop in. Walked in I do say the young gal that was at the register. She was phenomenal along with the staff. Now on the other hand, the manager. Go up to the your employee and ask about the order. No need to yell a cross the restaurant. Felt bad for the employee, the older lady. Second of all, you don't talk about a previous employee that worked for the business to another customer. Doesn't matter if you know them or not. Time and place for that and not at work. Just watching everyone else and seeing and seeing their expressions said it all.

I had not sat at the counter in Jeff's Coney in 45 years. I went there as a kid growing up in Ft. Wayne. I went there with my grandfather when he came to visit, and my childhood posse on our bikes when we would mow laws for quarters so we could go up there on the first Saturday of summer for the all you could eat hot dog special. I had to fly in to the area, and made sure my schedule allowed me to go by and see if the magic was still there. And it truly was. I walked in and was 11 years old again. The counter, the dogs right in front of you, but most importantly, the people. None of them were there 45 years ago, but somehow to work there, you have to know, respect, and just simply feel the vibe that is the history of that place. The food was timeless, and as it was, should, and supposed to be. The current ownership understands that, respects the legacy, and knows the value of a good customer. I cannot say enough things about Jeff's Coney, other than to say that lunch meal was 45 years in the making, and did not disappoint.
Disappointing service. Ordered a 3 piece chicken strip basket, braut, fried pickles, and a daily special. When we got home our order contained no coney dogs, and we were given fried green beans instead of pickles. When we called to ask about the missing items the lady tried to claim we âdidnât even order the daily specialâ but I think the tater tots and drink we received says differently. She then claimed she didnât charge us for the daily special but then explain to me why I paid $32.27. Donât waste your time with these liars.

This place has so much potential! The atmosphere is great, the people who work here are friendly and have really positive attitudes.
The reason for my rating is the training the employees receive. We ordered 3 entrees and 3 sides. We got 2 entrees pretty quickly, the sides came later, then finally my other childâs meal. All 10 minutes apart. So my daughter and I had cold food by the time my other daughter received her food. The employees seemed to be struggling with order- as there were 4 tables and 3 employees, they were really struggling to keep up and incredibly apologetic about it.
Management- please help your employees. Theyâre not the ones in the wrong here.

The coney sauce seems different. The floors were dirty and the soda had no carbonation. Ordered off kids menu for a child, and fries were extra (which was in small print). Kids meal with 2 small chicken strips was almost 9 dollars!! Not sure if this place currently went under new management or owners.
