It had been a year or so since I was able to catch King Gyros open as my schedule had only brought me to Fort Wayne through the night after they had closed. So having the chance to go the other day was not a disappointment. We gyros and rib tips. The fries were nice and hot. The gyros was the best in town. Just as delicious as I remembered them to be. The rib tips were juicy and tender. 10 out of 10.

I usually use the drive thru. Their food is awesome and they have some of the best shoestring fries and ribeye steak sandwiches. But their gyros are absolutely wonderful and what they are known for.

I’ve been coming here about once a week for the past few weeks because the mozzarella sticks are actually really good. As someone who travels a lot and is only home a few days a week, sometimes I just want my comfort snack, and this place has been hitting.
That said, my most recent visit was… interesting.
I pulled up and an older female staff member told me, “Wow, we need to get you the VIP package since you’re here twice a week every week.”
I politely said I think you may have me confused with someone else. Instead of clarifying or apologizing for calling me a heavy set big back 😂, she just doubled down, handed me my food, and shut the window.
If you’re going to comment on how often someone comes in, at least make sure you’re accurate and maybe read the room. It felt unnecessary and awkward, especially when I’ve only seen this employee twice.
As for the woman who works there, instead of worrying about getting me the VIP package at your establishment, maybe hold off on the VIP meth package and invest in a VIP ULTA package so you can focus on your skincare.
With all of that being said, the mozzarella sticks are still bussin. I’ll probably still come back. But a little professionalism (and maybe less commentary on customers) would go a long way, especially since this is a RESTAURANT and you WANT me to buy your food. 💖

I'm not from here but this place makes me wish I were...... I am from Evansville and we have no place like this. I saw Gyros and I was in. I got the Gyro plate and wish I hadn't been so quick to order and saw the recommendation for a second pita and sauce. It was still nice to eat the extra meat and onions and tomato I couldn't fit on the pita that came with it but another gyro sandwich would have rocked! The pictures I took and uploaded weren't taken for a review, they were to send to my buddy back home to make him jealous. haha. I got a Chicago dog to take back t my hotel for later and it was really good to but I ate too fast to think of taking a picture. Got onion rings subbed for the fries and those were generous and delicious.

My first experience here. I had the chicken sandwich and fries, the chicken was fried a bit to long making it dry and hard around the edges. The flavor was bland but the fries were decent.

Some of their fast food sandwiches are almost as good as the Chicago greasy spoon spots Chicago style Hot Dogs, Maxwell Polishes, Italian Beef, Italian Beef & Sausage Combo, Pizza Puffs, Gyro are delicious their Rib Tips and grilled chicken on pita are awsome

The food was great - they have a huge selection to choose from and they are open late. We stayed next door and went both nights to get food.They were super fast and had tons of people there every night.
