The western omelette was overcooked and dry. The potatoes were okay. The best thing was the buttered toast with strawberry jam.

Lovely little diner. The food was exactly what I ordered and delicious. My only complaint was that there were no candles.

I have eaten here for literally years. Always tried to find time for the Wednesday only Fried Chicken plate. Was always the best fried chicken in town (IMO). This lovely little diner is under new owners and management, not sure when, but since my previous visit. Also, they had homemade pies and killer homemade rolls, before. If you cut corners, your old regulars will just disappear. Frozen prepared food I can buy anywhere, and it would not be difficult to be better than what I was served. My regular waitress was still there, but not her sparkly self. I would be embarrassed to serve the plate that she had to serve me, knowing it wasn't even close to their best. The frozen coconut cream pie had a stale rubbery crust, tasted old and like a refrigerator. I won't return. I've heard Sara's and Joanne's are really good. Time for me to move on.
