Not knowing it was St Patrick’s Day, I stumbled in for lunch looking for a good Philly. Irish music was playing, good mannered customers all donned in green and gold having a good time talking and enjoying the “holiday”. The food was on point and the service great. I imagine it’s been 20 years since I moved from Fort Wayne and visited this restaurant. I will not wait so long next time!

I have always really liked Laycoffs but was really under impressed today. The waitress was very nice, just seemed a bit distracted or busy. Our food was just okay. I had a chicken bacon Swiss Sammie platter. Breaded and the chicken itself was good. The bacon tasted awful and I asked for lettuce, pickle and mayo on the side. Just a couple leafs of lettuce. Mayo, pickles, fries and slaw were all good. My friend had a beef with cheese and peppers and asked for her bun to be extra toasted. So soft. She got a shot of top shelf tequila, first shot was watered down. Second shot was good, but served in a shot that was cracked and chipped. After all these rants? I'm definitely going back to give them another chance on

Food was good. Service great. Arrived just before rush hour and got a booth. After about 1740 saw a waiting line. I hope I am remembering the waitress's name Tori didn't hesitate at surprising me with food. This shows good confidence of employees.
