Even though we just had a regular cheese pizza. It is better than any pizza I've ever had. Drove all the way out from Chicago on a road trip, wanted an impulsive lunch, found this location , went inside, and we were welcomed with nice smiles. I don't remember the gentleman's name there, but he said he was also from Chicago and occupied my fiancé's time with really nice conversation and a nice meal afterwards. HIGHLY RECOMMEND LEXY'S! Still my favorite pizza anywhere around the Ft Wayne area. I've been getting Lexys for around 50 yrs. I've had pizza at most places around here. Something about Lexys that's just great. Deep dish here is great too. One other place on hwy24 is a close 2nd.
I have been in Fort Wayne since I was 11 years old and I’m 57 years old now. Good and bad pizza comes and goes but the one great consistency is Lexi’s on Spring Street. It was our favorite in high school and it’s a favorite of my kids growing up. Now that my wife and I are on the verge of retiring, it’s still our favorite! The people who work there are very nice, very professionaland care they take making the pizzas and sandwiches is just fantastic.
