A few waitresses are always nice and courteous, but 1 or 2 I get bad vibes from every time I go there. I called a few days ago to put an order in and was put on hold for at least 10 minutes until I actually drove there, then hung up, went inside, and placed my order.

Inexpensive food, tasty, great service. Not many restaurants left in FW where you can get excellent food without paying an arm and a leg, but this is one of them. All day breakfast or good selection of sandwiches.

Have ate there since open, not as much now since we moved.Went today, when visiting, so my mom could have a breaded tenderloin. When we finally got our food, to plates was someone else's order and 1 was missing fries. Our waitress was new and a real sweetheart. But the owners daughter came over and raised her voice at us for explaining the orders were wrong. Got all that straightened out. The daughter came back over and opened the door for me to address her attitude, but she had excuses.I had a taco salad. It was very bland and sunk together in one big clump. No taco seasoning, they used chili! So I sat there trying to figure out who to talk to about it. Our waitress came over and I was quietly trying to as who the manager or owner was, and all of a sudden the owner was at my left. Asking what the problem was, then all of a sudden the daughter stopped and started rehashing about her attitude. I felt ganged up on. I told her to stop and let's not make a scene, too late. I got up with my food and told owner/mother I want to speak to her quietly about my food. She was already so ticked off and defensive I couldn't explain. She took my plate and said she wouldn't charge. I said , well can I get some onion rings?, I'll pay for them. Everyone finished, we left. Never again will I eat there.

Another great ma & pa place. The food is great with larger portions. I don't eat the tenderloin sandwiches but they are as big as your plate! Service is amazing when they aren't busy, but lacking when they are. It is still worthwhile for the delicious food. The interior is dated and not the most comfortable, but I don't need a great atmosphere to enjoy a good meal.

Decided to try a new place today for breakfast in the Fort. The Lunchbox Cafe on Coldwater Rd did not disappoint! Meatlovers 3 egg omelete with a layer of mozzarella cheese on top, then cover with a rich, thick, hearty, sausage gravy. Country fries and toast on the side with an OJ. All for under $14!! Food was delicious and the staff were kind and attentive. Highly recommended ?
