Prime was over seasoned. Perch and cod great. Huge hand breaded onion rings. Great deserts.

This place is amazing. The spinach salad was amazing. The fried gizzards were fresh and cooked perfectly. The perch was light and flaky. You cannot go wrong here!

Sorry I know lots of folks love this place. We sent our food back. We ordered the specialty, fried cod. It was so greasy, way too greasy. They offered to make something else but was sick after the grease. So we paid for our drinks and left.

Long-time road diner/bar with lots of comfort food. The have a family friendly dining room where liquor is served but separate from the bar dining area. Nice accommodation.

I always appreciate a bartender who knows their customers and can still pay attention to non-regulars. I also like how clean it was even though it was a packed house on a Monday evening.
We weren't there for healthy options. 2 buckets of gizzards, large onion rings(yum), and deep fried cod fillets (very yum and good sized pieces). All this fried food and the star was the spinach salad! So good. We spent about 120$ including tip, but we had 7 for dinner with enough too warm up for one lunch.
According to the family the gizzard's are excellent. I have to say no way I'm ever eating them, but that's me. I'm told they are amazing and very tender inside. So if you like gizzards this is the place to go.

Opened in 1837!!! Fun stop in seemingly the middle of no where. It's nine miles to the county court house. Along an old Indian trails. There menu had some fun old school choices like gizzards. Their chili had a great flavor with a bit of spicy. Dinner salads are huge with high quality lettuce. My teenager rated his burger and fries ok. I like that they offered 1/4 slab of ribs with a 6oz chicken breast. Restaurant had two sides family dining on one end and the bar on the other. Bathrooms are freshly remodeled unlike the dining room.
