Wife and I ate at the bar, 1st time here for me, Wife was here for business lunch. Nice place, Saturday lunchtime was busy. Very good service, attentive and professional. The food was great, and affordable. I got the gumbo and salad lunch, you're choice of salad with endless gumbo for $16. The portions were so large I didn't need a second bowl. So we went here for my birthday. It was our first time there. The bread was phenomenal!
Main course: Both my boyfriend and I got the delmonico steak medium (that was my first mistake. Normally i order medium rare because no restaurant except bills steak house in michigan can cook it right when i ask for medium). The steaks came out more on the well done side. I did mention to the waitress that they weren't cooked right but that it was okay.

It’s great to still see some of these old school restaurants still around and serving impeccable food. Really good steak dinner. The Delmonico was cooked perfectly and the creamed spinach and asparagus sides were very good. Would definitely come back for a special occasion.
