Burger day is the best. We miss the fresh cut fries, but the coleslaw is a good addition.

Giving two stars because the oysters were good but the wait staff is terrible. Went for our 7th wedding anniversary and waited 30 minutes for bread a water. We ordered two orders of oysters and our waitress brought us two oysters. Took her 20 minutes to return to our table and apologize and after that she was very cold towards us. She didn’t acknowledge us again until she brought us a bill. Had to ask another waitress to correct our order. So in total we were there 50 minutes and got served 2 oysters and bread and water. We had to ask for our drinks after that. The two tables seated after us got all of their items before us. The tables are super close together making it uncomfortable. We kept joking we were apart of everyone’s conversation. We skipped out for another place to eat to salvage our evening. Wouldn’t suggest and we won’t be back. 👎🏻
Edit: my husband and I spent all evening and night getting sick..definitely got food poisoning from here. Avoid this place.

The food was very good. However, the $60 sea bass dish was a small portion. It was good though.
The service was very slow. We were there 1.5 hours. I only saw two cooks in the kitchen.
The atmosphere was fruit flies. I started trying g to kill them. Mood killer.

Service was top notch. Let me start there. Food was decent. The apps were good. My wife enjoyed the oyster chowder (stew) and her scallops. The only complaint I had is the wahoo I had. It was a tad overcooked. They were really busy and I didn't want to make a fuss, and it is very possible that it was a slight oversight, but it is what it is. Overall, I'd eat here again and will recommend it to others. Parking is very difficult to find down there. Only real beef I have. Not their fault, however.

I stopped by the Oyster Bar for dinner, and it turned out to be my favorite restaurant in Fort Wayne. There’s a ton of history in this place, and my server, Madison, was nice enough to tell me about it. She did an excellent job, and I really enjoyed my meal. I was able to sit at the bar right away, and I enjoyed a meal that lived up to the place’s name. I tried their oysters Rockefeller and casino, and both were delicious and decadent. The two oysters on the half shell I tried were fresh and tasted of the sea. It’s a very classy place, and it makes for a great dinner. I’ll definitely come here again next time I’m in Fort Wayne.

If I could, I'd rate 10 stars. Run, don't walk to the Oyster Bar. My partner and I stopped in to celebrate his birthday (which none of the staff knew) and sat at the bar rail. We had been to this establishment before and had returned for the food, but now we'll be returning for the incredible service, as well as the amazing food. Everything was so incredibly thoughtful, from the appetizers, to the entrees, to the cocktails, to the conversations with the staff. Truly, the best experience I've had from any restaurant in Fort Wayne. Will be talking about this with all of our friends and family for a long time. Thanks again for the memories. Until next time <3

My wife and I love this restaurant, highly recommend the Crab Cakes and fresh Oysters. We try to make it here at least once a year and it never disappoints. Tony the Chef/Owner is hitting it out of the park with an amazing menu, and fresh ingredients.

Came here to celebrate my friends birthday and it didn't disappoint. We didn't have reservations and we were lucky enough to have gotten a seat, and I mean lucky because it IS tiny. Like I opened the door and promptly closed it because I thought it was the wrong door as it opened to dining patrons not a hostess station. I had never had oysters before and was hesitant BUT they were really good. Everything we had was amazing, the appetizers, entrees, desert and cocktails. The place also has a rich history which is awesome. I would for sure go back and be tickled pink just sitting at the bar. I say if your on the fence, take a chance, cozy up and dive in.

I took my family over the weekend. First time at Oyster Bar. All I can say is nothing short of amazing!!! Not only was the food incredible the the wait staff and great. Not to mention, Tony the chef went over and beyond our expectations connecting with our 10 year son. He asked our son what his favorite food was, he said red snapper. Tony said he didn't have any but was going to make him a special dish that wasn't a special or on the menu. Tony goes out to the cooler and comes back with a fresh filet of Caribbean Snapper and cooks it for our son. It made his night! Truly amazing people and incredible food!!! We will be back soon!!!

A Fort Wayne staple! A venue rooted in history, The Oyster Bar brings classic seafood dishes up a notch with a kitchen willing to be bold and a head bartender that work together.

We couldn’t say enough great things. We had legitimately probably a once in a lifetime experience here. The food was FANTASTIC, not even a single half complaint! The service was excellent, we were VERY well taken care of by not only our waitress but the bartender and owner/chef as well. He came out a handful of times to chat with us and even broke out a swig of bourbon for the boys from a fancy box! We were treated far more than we’ve ever experienced, and it was super special having my honeys kid there to experience it as well. She said it was the best meal she had ever had, and my significant other and brother said the same! Hands down the BEST dessert I had ever tasted. He said it was his great grandmas recipe and it was delightful, not sure what it was called tho! The treats kept coming with this visit. We had never been before but we will most definitely be back! We felt like royalty, and the kiddo loved the chance to meet the chef! They made a deal, when she’s 21 she can go back and they can share a swig of the good stuff! Lol! We can’t say enough positives about it! Thank you SO much oyster bar and staff for such a special experience!

We go to The Oyster Bar almost weekly as our Saturday date night location. The food is always amazing and the staff is polite and very attentive. I'm originally from Texas and they serve the best steak I've ever had here. The oysters are delicious. Sometimes I just get a large bowl of the clam chowder as my dinner. The restaurant is small, but feel very homey and warm.
