Service was top notch. Let me start there. Food was decent. The apps were good. My wife enjoyed the oyster chowder (stew) and her scallops. The only complaint I had is the wahoo I had. It was a tad overcooked. They were really busy and I didn't want to make a fuss, and it is very possible that it was a slight oversight, but it is what it is. Overall, I'd eat here again and will recommend it to others. Parking is very difficult to find down there. Only real beef I have....
I stopped by the Oyster Bar for dinner, and it turned out to be my favorite restaurant in Fort Wayne. There’s a ton of history in this place, and my server, Madison, was nice enough to tell me about it. She did an excellent job, and I really enjoyed my meal. I was able to sit at the bar right away, and I enjoyed a meal that lived up to the place’s name. I tried their oysters Rockefeller and casino, and both were delicious and decadent. The service was very slow. We were there 1.5 hours. I only saw two cooks in the kitchen.
The atmosphere was fruit flies. I started trying g to kill them. Mood killer.
